How is a well-researched article detailing a vast array of documented problems surrounding Brown, including cases of aggressive outbursts, uncouth sexual advances, and unpaid bills, some unfair destruction of Brown's character?

He owes multiple contractors money, got a fish tank and let them rot and die (animal abuse), threw furniture out of a window onto a busy street, lashed out at a woman and injured her arm, and approached a female contractor in his house wearing nothing but a hand-towel over his crotch.

It wasn't an character assassination; it was a well-researched and corroborated article detailing the many troubling issues surrounding Brown. If anyone destroyed Brown's character it was Brown himself, not the SI article which simply documented the many actions that Brown himself did.

If I drive drunk and kill a family, and the media arrives at the scene to take photos and write a story, was it the media who destroyed my character by reporting what I did, or was it I who destroyed my own character by doing those things?

The only real question is does owing people money, doing what he did to women, disqualify him from playing football? Or any other job?

You forgot that he farted on his doctor

So is answering the door in a little towel when I ordered pizza a crime?
The #1 answer to: "when is it not a crime to answer the door in a little towel"

Is: Jehova Witnesses

Patriots have kept Brown pretty damn quiet this past week. Whatever they are doing it’s working for now.
I read AG has kept AB strapped down at TB12 massaging his glutes and working on his pliability. Word is AG asked for cash up front though.

It doesn't, but he shouldn't be rewarded for ****ting on people in general and for being a cancer to society.

How can you call this a corroborated article when they only listed one side of those stories. Was AB or any of his assistants interviewed for the article to corroborate everything said? Were the piranhas interviewed? Nonsense.

That has to be the first time that uncouth has been used in a post here.

I agree, not sure why anyone would try to defend AB's behavior. Just because he's on the Pats now?...shallow

He’s being rewarded for being good at his job, not for how he conducts himself in his personal life.

Because he looked stupid in steeler and or raider uniforms?

I've just finished Jeff Howe's well written and LONG article over at the Athletic. To make that long story short, here's the thing. There IS language in the CBA and precedence to put AB on the exempt list if he THINKS there is a possibility that the charges are true. Doesn't matter if its not a criminal case. It doesn't matter if there is conflicting evidence. He doesn't even have to say he believes the charges are true. He can put him on the exempt list merely on the PRESUMPTION that something happened (sound familiar), and keep him there until the case is resolved in court.

If this is the case, then I can't see a way AB remains on the field past Sunday....at best. Usually the league wants to make these kinds of decisions before the first practice of the week, so there is a possibility he plays this week.

It depends on how good looking you are, and what kind of shape you're in.

Crime:

They will when people start getting penalized because some ex-lover files a revenge lawsuit. Which you can be sure is how most of the rank and file of the NFLPA see the Antonio Brown situation.
That is the issue
If the league suspends brown over an accusation and a civil case, players will be subject to being blackmailed and paying out even if they did nothing.
If you don’t give me 2 mill I will make up a story and sue you and you will lose your 10 mill a year job.
Not to mention most of these guys are in their 20s having casual relationships that would subject them to this.

By all indications, AB is at practice today. It's pretty likely that he plays on Sunday.

It would be a first. This woman has so many inconsistencies in her story including lies about the type of relationship they had. Now she gets married to some simp after she got exposed for cheating on her boyfriend with brown. Hoping brown has those videos dated. I said money grab since the beginning. We shall see.

The pats will play it safe for now but i’m sure they would love an end to this already.

And this is how you cut to the chase* kids

*(please note until further notice the chase will be in need of weekly updating)

Ray Lewis killed a guy and still played. Maybe two guys. He also beat up all the members of first take
True, but this didn't happen under Moral Emperor Roger Goodell's watch...

If the Patriots weren't told (non-disclosure), they could have gotten rid of him already. So, why is he still on the team?
