Jaguars Jalen Ramsey asks for trade..

Anywhere but Kansas City...................it's gonna be Kansas City.....isn't it?

Trade him out of the conference. If philly gets him it will improve their secondary and they will compete with the cowboys for the division.

What we need is an entire episode of gridiron heights where star players on ****ty teams request to be traded to only competitive teams.

Florida not so sunshine... first minkah now ramsey...

It's becoming the NBA around here...

It's becoming the NBA around here...
Players are starting to assume some control and teams that value locker room cohesion are obliging.
The quick offloads may have something to do with AB’s prolonged sh*t show in Pitt that ate away that team over several years.
Lesson learned....operate on the tumor ASAP and get significant assets while value is still high
And with most teams scrambling for healthy bodies and talent.....it appears many teams are eager to trade away significant draft picks for proven talent. GM and coach job insecurity will do that.

Interesting times in pro sports and NFL teams are beginning to lose a bit of their power grip over their players
Can’t imagine NFL Owners are too excited to see NBA player tactics seep into their sport, especially during the season.
But headlines do keep the public glued as the NBA musical chair drama has proven

There are like 360 NBA player, 750 MLB players, and almost 1700 NFL players.

There is a sound reason why the contracts aren't fully guaranteed. Making it to the NFL doesn't guaranteed you becoming rich, you must perform decent and have a bit of longevity and then you will be in America's top 1%.

If players are becoming more bold and the concept of honor for the team is becoming out of fashion, then there needs to be deterrants put in place to prevent the littany of holdouts, trade requests, and general conduct detrimental to the team.

Is it really surprising? The chefs are trying to do everything to dethrone us. Getting Ramsey would give them a legit defense no matter what. Damn it. I think getting home field would be a plus for us. Should have happened last year.

Ok fine. But can he cover the "yo soy fiesta" guy ?

If the Chiefs get Ramsey (Which all indications are they will), then they will double Edelman and put Ramsey on Gordon. Which means Dorsett will need to come up huge. This is Pending AB gets suspended.

Hate to say it. But if they get Ramsey, and we lose AB, they are better.

Short term I get it, but long term I think the Chiefs might be doing a mistake. They already have Watkins, Hill, Kelce Fisher, Mathieu, Clark on big contracts... Extending Mahomes and Ramsey to that core and giving away the reported needed draft capital could hurt them long term though.

It's why the Patriots have been successful for such a long time. Paying only a few elite players and replacing outgoing players with drafted players/ cheaper FA

Let’s say this does happen.

1. Harry will be back in will have played nfl games so he’d have to be accounted for

2. They still can’t run the ball we’d run down there throat.

Also why is AB getting suspended anyways

That's why I said pending he doesn't get suspended. After all, the commissioner could put him on the exempt list.

Kelce>Watson

Hill>Gordon

Ramsey & Gilmore are a wash.

Harry wasn't exactly doing great before he got injured. And a rookie in this offense isn't easy. Plus there's no guarantees he returns this season.

I give credit to Ramsey for his comments last night. He seems to be backtracking a bit and showing more respect for the team. Maybe it was just an emotional out burst.

Yeah but he never said in the interview that he doesn't want to be traded. He said he will be a good soldier "if he's still here". He wants out. There's no doubt about it.

Well they are better with him and minus AB for us. Ramsey will force a few more stops against Brady.

We have a substantially better defense which gives us a much bigger margin for error than the Chiefs have. Ramsey won't make a terrible unit into a top 5 unit.
