Monitoring Wynn injury situation (Placed on IR)

Seems like we just keep swinging and missing in the draft over the past 5 years compared to our awesome drafts 2010-2014

exactly. We have literally the worst young talent in the NFL due to our draft misses. This will ultimately burn us and all of this will come crashing down in a year or 2 when all these vets we have right now will be too old. This will be similar to the Bulls after 1998.

Dam who would think injuries would happen in professional sports.. But lets blame the draft for that..

Wynn is a stud and has been unlucky so far with his injuries, which is obviously a concern but it could of been another Achilles injury or something worse.

You'd rather have Lamar playing left tackle?

No, I'd rather have Lamar at QB in a year or two instead at a AFC rival than a LT who doesn't even play.

Of course. Hes been injury plagued. But hes looked great while hes been in there and lets home hes ready Week 10ish

Yes when he plays he’s very good. Still wanted Lamar Jackson there. Would take over for Brady in 2 years and we would still be an incredible team because he looks like a superstar

Why do some people here get so excited and all Felger and Mazzy about declaring someone a bust? It's like they cant wait for it to happen.

Nothing more than a Second!
The other problem is that Williams is also made of glass. There is always something bothering him.

After the run and success we are due.:D

Pats were linked to Lamar Jackson. We really liked him. We didn’t pull the trigger

I don’t get the overreaction here. Then again, we act like this every time a player gets hurt.

If we get Cannon back, the line will hold up well enough.

May I remind everyone that we have the Redskins, Giants and likely a Darnold-less Jets twice during this stretch he’s expected to be out?

What about Cajuste? Will he ever see the field or will they shut him down. It’s been awhile since he got that quad surgery.

Don't know the #s, but they must lead the league in 1st- 3d round picks who contribute NOTHING...it's amazing they've been as good as they have been with their terrible drafting

Should have stopped after four words.

A real bummer. I think he has talent, but dependability is more important and he’s not dependable

Being upset that he hasn't been dependable so far is understandable. Complaining we should have drafted Lamar Jackson because a top end LT with literally ZERO injury history has run into some bad luck in the pros is pure hindsight.

"it's real bad...terrible...why us?...and here I thought we had turned the corner...instead...right in the grave. WOE ARE WE OH LORD!"

Suppose we are looking at 2-14 for the rest of the season..

After the run and success we are due.:D

which why I wouldn't be opposed somehow make another big trade and go all in. This might very well be over after this year. Might as well get #7 and feel good about it.

We don't have nearly enough young talent to keep this going.

Wynn had 0 injury history/concerns coming out of college. It sux but thats football.

No it’s not. Pats were linked to Jackson, they worked him out privately. Many people on this board believed pats would draft him. We passed.

I don't think that the odds change as long as Wynn comes back healthy after the bye.

Did I say that? No, I did not. I said that it diminishes our chances. That's true of every starter going down. Does that mean that we cannot overcome the blow? Of course not. But a starting OT is a valuable building block on the OL. We're missing 3 of 5 starters. The lack of continuity over the course of the season may be too much to overcome. Or, we may be just fine.

Don't see how you got an all or nothing statement from my comment.
