Probably bad. If it lasted 10 hours she probably had lots of stuff to tell/show to the NFL investigators.

I’m guessing Lisa Friel was meeting with her. Friel is a long time prosecutor. I’m sure she was very thorough, professional, and acted like a true lawyer (painfully meticulous). Naturally, it would have taken a long time. I don’t think the length of time tells us anything.

Just to clarify, I got the CNN reporters tweet from Daniel Wallach. So while we may discount what she says, he isn't retweeting it just because he is a fan of a certain team.

No one is assuming the report is correct. However, if it was in fact 10 hours, it's bad. Depositions typically don't even last that long. That's like 2 days of Kavanaugh testimony...

For someone that claims he isn't assuming, you are making a lot of assuming posts

No, if the woman were clearly making it up, they would have wrapped it up much quicker than that.

Thats 1 & 3

1) They haven't met w AB yet but it'll be interesting how rigorous of a defense he puts up w/ the NFL when he has a trial pending.
2) He has not been threatened to be put on the Commish List - yet
3) He is not in civil suit litigation and not disclosed in pre-trial discovery. I'd venture to say AB would rather be suspended a couple of games than fork over $1m in the civil suit.
4) The NFL wants to railroad AB b/c of the "crime" and it fits the Susan G Comen pink October narrative nicely.

Yes true but none of that will matter anymore if those videos are dated. She won’t look like a victim. That’s my point. All that will go to waste. First off she lied on the lawsuit about the type of relationship they had. People can scream all they want but if there’s video evidence nobody is gonna feel bad for her. Everything about this smells like a money grab until she has hard proof evidence.

Are you implying that Wallach retweeting it gives it validity? All he is doing is passing along info. It's not like he is confirming it.

I agree.

Hes got a court case to win. Unless the NFL is threatening a lifetime ban he has a court case to win first.

Yes, I am. He's not retweeting things for the hell of it, he's a plugged in lawyer who is pretty plugged in with the legal world AND has some NFL links.

Also, Albert Breer saying it ALSO gives it validity.

I used the word "clearly." 10 hours (if true) would suggest that she had something to say that the league did not find frivolous. Could be a 50/50 situation.

Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reports the league interviewed Britney Taylor, who has accused Antonio Brown of sexual assault and rape, for 10 hours on Monday.

A civil case like this can morph into a criminal case. Brown would be smart to avoid any interviews or evidence requests on the part of the NFL.
Agreed, but then he will certainly be suspended for non-cooperation.

This chic is really milking it:rolleyes: I bet they flew her First Class put her in a very nice hotel suite. She probably ordered the finest foods really living the life I hope she at least tipped her waiters.

Useful stuff from McCann. Note that now that Taylor has talked to the NFL, Goodell can suspend Brown even if Brown and Taylor settle before any trial.
Goodell only needs to find that Brown “may have” committed an act of violence against Taylor in order to exempt Brown from eligibility, which is a very low bar. Goodell doesn’t need to be certain that Brown battered Taylor or even inclined to believe it. He simply needs to find that Brown “may have” battered Taylor.

Although Brown would still be paid his base salary while on the exempt list, he would become less likely to earn lucrative bonuses. Brown would reportedly earn $1.5 million bonuses if he 105 catches, 1,298 yards or 16 touchdowns this season. Placement on the exempt list could also serve as a precursor to an unpaid suspension.

When Taylor met with the NFL, the league obtained a record, which likely contains a summary of the questions asked by league staff to Taylor and her responses; it might also contain a transcript if the meeting was recorded. Goodell can now rely on that record to punish Brown. This is true even if Taylor and Brown reach an out-of-court settlement next week or next month.
Legal impact of new accusations against Antonio Brown

If the NFL didn't suspend Hill but suspend Brown there will be a massive **** show.

I still go by the theory that this was consensual relationship. It turned sour. Brown is not the smartest guy in the room. He demeaned her in a lot of texts and it probably got nastier with each text message but that doesn’t prove anything. He could have even said i felt like a rapist meaning he could took advantage of her. It got really nasty looking at the comments. In the end the videos could save brown’s behind.

Funny thing is the guy had a charge in college yet the nfl didn’t believe he broke his son’s arm. Here you have allegations and a civil suit . Not a criminal one.

If Goodell thinks he may have done it, what are the next steps?

does he land on the exempt list or does he get suspended right away?

if he ends up on the exempt, how likely is it that he plays again this season?

Why on earth would you think that? Who is going to create the **** show? The rest of the league and the public won't care.
