Jaguars Jalen Ramsey asks for trade..

Their roster really isn’t that great. Bad or no depth at every single position group, starting safeties suck, Bouye has taken a step back, and Fournette has flimsy hamstrings (on top of being overrated in general and spending more time on Instagram Live than watching film). I do like their WR group and how they are progressing but they need a chain mover ala Edelman or Welker.

We’re heading for another rebuild and I’m about dang ready to give up on football

Oh please, the same ppl talking negative about Ramsey will be enamored with him IF he were to come to NE (just like AB and anybody else). Some of you are so full of it

my bigger issue with him is inconsistency and him wanting a big payday. Character isn't the issue imo.

Funny joke, but that's as bad an analogy as one can make about the reigning 6x World Champion New England Patriots. But I'll be kind and allow the elderly try to figure out why........

.

Easy, big guy. You’re all worked up this morning. I wasn’t making a serious comparison between that Red Sox team from decades ago to this current patriots team.

I’m against picking up Ramsey because of the cost/benefit ratio does not favor the acquisition, in my opinion, not because he wouldn’t start on this Pats team. If I were a Chiefs fan, absolutely I would be in favor of going after him, because it would be a matter of fixing a possible fatal flaw on their team.

Having said that, there is too much hand wringing about the Chiefs picking him up potentially. Even with Ramsey, there cornerbacks do not match up well with our CURRENT wide receiver corps.

Here’s the thing. No one can stop our offense and our defense might be top ten all time. Good luck with all that

Yeah, Ramsey is a top level talent, and many of the people denigrating him in this thread would be claiming that the Patriots had the two best CBs in the NFL, if BB pulled the trigger on a deal.

I read somewhere KC is emerging as the top contender for Ramsey...their D still has a lot of holes in it though

I hope we get involved if nothing else then to drive up the price for the Chiefs.

Little chance Coughlin would entertain us, much like the Steelers and AB

AFC team apparently offered 1st and a player. NFC team 1st and a 2021 5th

First team All-Pro at 22 years old with a sub 53.8% comp 66.4 rating against in 2017. Had a "down year" last season with 54.6% comp 73.8 rating (PFF). Wants to play press man instead of zone.

I agree with Deus. Ramsey's situation is similar to Talib in Tampa or Gilmore in Buffalo. The team that uses him right is getting a stud that hasn't entered his prime. Hopefully it is not KC.

Now, could JC Jackson & Pick 32 get him? Probably. Too bad they'd be screwed in 2020. That'd be a fun argument to have on the same team.

I am shocked that the eagles are not jumping at this. They have to be. Also the 49ers.

I mean I’d love Ramsey, but if we’re giving up a high pick I’d rather it be for Trent Williams.

They should be all over this. This is the best player out there that could potentially slow the Pats down, and they should know that. They get more bang for their buck with this transaction, in their attempt to win the SB this year, than any other.

Thing is, a KC 1st rounder is gonna be pretty late in the 1st round.

Yeah, our defense needs to lower its 1.5 points per game against average..........

By the way - - you know what makes Gilmore far better than this fraud? Gilmore plays zone/slot/everything BB tells him to do. That's why he is a champion and Jalen Ramsey is a ringless wonder.

.

.

Uh, that's probably not why Gilmore is a champion and Ramsey isn't.

It definitely could move them closer. I just want the game to be in Foxborough this time around. It should have been last year if it wasn’t for the miami miracle.

From the comments under that second tweet:

Announce Ramsey to the Patriots so we can hang ourselves already. Sheesh..
