Jets Suck -- 2019 Edition (Official): Entering A New Half-Century of Moronic Mediocrity!

The Jets Have Reached the “Luke Falk Is Our Quarterback” Level of Misery

And somehow it could get worse than it did in Monday’s loss to the Browns

The Jets play the Patriots next week. For all of the shocking information that will follow, please keep this at the forefront of your mind. As decrepit, depressing, and disheartening as the Jets’ 23-3 loss against the Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football was, the most harrowing part is that their season is all but certain to get worse.
...
Darnold’s absence made Trevor Siemian, a seventh-round pick whom Broncos GM and infamously bad quarterback evaluator John Elway drafted in 2015, New York’s starting quarterback. MNF announcer Joe Tessitore said that a member of the Jets staff claimed, “We don’t look at [Siemian] as a backup, we look at him as a starter who happens to be on the same team as Sam Darnold.” Perhaps that line of thinking is how Jets coaches fall asleep at night. We don’t look at the Jets as a terrible team, we look at them as a Super Bowl contender that happens to be in the same division as the Patriots.
...
But their schedule does not compare at all to the Jets, who, if you’ll recall, are playing the Patriots next week at Foxborough. The Jets will get to lick their wounds after that matchup during a Week 4 bye, but they will then play the Eagles, Cowboys, and Patriots again. That second Patriots matchup is also on Monday Night Football. As bad as this Jets season is going and as low as Monday felt, remember that this team is not even close to rock bottom.

I watched the highlights of the game, and that's 11 minutes of my life I won't get back, but still, Bletch seemed to be the only Jete who was even trying to win the game.

The following graphic shows what happens when you take someone with talent and add him to da Jette:

So, so Jetsy!

I can't wait for Joe and Evan's show today! :D

I like the idea of a pissed off Sam.

Can Cali kids get pissed off?
Why the hell are YOU here this morning? Oh, of course ...

It's more like a sneezed on Sam. Dude won't be playing in any type of stereo mode any time soon. Although one could argue that his scramble to the right stuff was probably evidence that he's had mono for the last few years.

IOW, he's just a one trick pony.

Poor Jetes. Something always happens to them when they think that " this is our year ".

Freaking in the basement again.

"This is out year"?

Did you think this was a year the Jets were contenders? I've heard that from literally no one.

There's plenty of material (injuries, mono, controversial coaches...) to rip on the Jets. No need to make crap up.

Chill. This year will be a very good year for the Jets, barring any other massive injuries of course. Contention won't be a consideration for a year or two.

So you've already given up.

Let me guess. " next year could be the year " ?

Calling this an "out year" seems more Freudian slip than typo. Regardless, I distinctly recall you posting the claim, "no more rebuilding, the team is playing to win NOW." Own up to it.

Yes. They are playing to win now. Unlike last year.

Not gonna win when ya lose your QB to mono and both "QBs" on defense in a few weeks (Mosely n Williamson).

Relax. Long season homie.

Hold up, wait. What has Sam Darnold ever done to give you even the slightest impression that he has the capability to shift into "FU" mode?

Then again, anger might catapult him all the way up to mediocre, so there's that.

You've been saying that for a couple of years now

You thought so. When you were busy winning the offseason.

Fixed it for the troll.

"ALL IS WELL!"

I'm plenty relaxed and I am not your homie.

Glad to see the rebuilding excuse is behind you and that the Jete FINALLY, after all these years, are playing to win games.
