Jaguars Jalen Ramsey asks for trade..

For argument's sake I'll concede Ramsey and Gilly are on the same talent plane.

...but to say the rest of the Chiefs D is on par with NE is outlandish.
Even if it's for argument's sake, I don't know how you typed that first sentence with a straight face.

I'm not going to quibble over who is better man/zone, etc. I don't watch Ramsey every week to be an authority on his play. With that said Gilly had a better year last year.

Ramsey, like the Jags' D as a whole, is living solely off of rep for one good season two years ago.

These clowns haven't been the same since their monstrous week 2 win last year. That super bowl hangover sure is a b**** aint it

Even if Ramsey ends up in KC, the Pats defense is better at every level, significantly.

Pats defense is otherwordly, because of their ability to disguise, and their versatility. You never know what you're going to get, man, zone, or both. That really screws with a QB's head.

Ramsey just wants to play man coverage, not zone (his primary issue with Marrone). He'll fit in here like a square in a round hole.

He’s a team cancer. Showed up at training camp in a Brinks truck. No thank you. The Pats already have their hands full.

He can sign with KC so we can beat him in the AFCC again

I have to mostly agree. I have seen very little since then from him or them collectively for people to still give them the respect they seem to still be getting.

And if the WR groups stays intact, Ramsey can't cover everyone.

I don't think we should. We literally have five CBs who can play from above average to elite. We don't have a bad CB on this team. A first round pick is better served to pick a DE or possibly another QB if Stidham doesn't work out.

I don’t understand why people think this.

They were top 5 in both points and yards allowed last year. Pretty impressive considering how bad there offense was

Stidham is the future.

Sorry, I meant the Jags' team as a whole. But my point that Ramsey is highly overrated stands.

Disagree with that too. He’s a top 5 corner in the league easily.
