17 to go. Anyone care to estimate when he gets it. both he and Brees on 522. unlikely to happen in the first half of the season even if we do have the jets this weekend.
With this receiving corps he should break it this season easy if they can keep Brown and Gordon out of trouble. Thats a big if. And if our OL doesn't get him broken up. tick tick....look at freak accident to Big Ben.

Should do it this season but look at freak accident to Big Ben. I don't think our OL could get an insurance policy. It's gonna be 1001, 1002, 1003, drop terra firma.

No that it might be just brady chasing it we gotta watch out for peyton pulling a tanya harding.

Brady passing Manning in regular season volume stats (yards, touchdowns) mostly just diminishes Manning's legacy, because his is the one that depends on regular season volume stats (not even efficiency, because Brady is better than him there, too.)

To bad Brees got hurt. I looked forward to him and Brady battling it out for the record this year. Not that it would likely be settled this year. Of course it is just a temporary record and something nice to get before either retires. It will be broken by either Mahomes or someone else who gets to play their whole career in the new passing era.

Mahomes won’t last long enough to do it. He’s an athletic QB. There will be too much wear and tear on his body by his mid thirties.

It's kind of funny how some of the same posters who are so religious about how Tom Brady will act classy when he breaks the record compared to how gauche Peyton Manning was have been so ecstatic having Antonio Brown on the team.........

.
Just people telling the truth.

Brady has class.
Brown is a good football player and a classless turd.

I like having both of them here to help us win.

Brees will probably have the most ever If he comes back healthy. I think he keeps playing after Tom retires to take the record.

Wish he would break it at Indy or at Denver.

You think Brees will still be playing in 2025? That’s optimistic.

I would just like to say that even if you and Brady don't care about the record, I do. I think it's pretty cool. It's one of the top 2 or 3 most important individual statistics in the sport and is a nice side dish to the main course of the six championships (so far).

Career TD passes is fairly meaningless, but any opportunity for Brady to annihilate the Forehead is one I’ll relish. After all this is the only thing Manning has left.

So when Brady gets to 546 he will have 2X the number of TD passes as Montana.

Mods...Smessy used the word "gauche"...one week ban for tastelessness please...:D
