Dolphins are the worst team of all time

The 1-31 Browns usually made teams work for it more than Miami has done in the first 2 games this year. They were real bad but every game wasn't a 40+ point margin bloodbath either.

But this is like using the Bristol Stool Chart to grade turds, it's all real bad regardless.

The Dolphins have a point differential of -92, which is already over a quarter of the way to the 2016-2017 Browns’ -364, in 30 fewer games.

John McKays Bucs were pretty horrible...embarrassingly inept...punchline to thousands of jokes

I feel bad for Flores. I would laugh at them harder if he wasn't coach.

How can you feel bad for him? He knew what he was getting into and it was probably his idea to do a complete tear down and rebuild.

There were a lot of funny edits to the Dolphins wikipedia page today, but this one did literally make me laugh out loud.

en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Miami_Dolphins&oldid=915896601

The Miami Dolphins are an awful American football team based in the Miami metropolitan area. The Dolphins try but ultimately fail to compete in the National Football League (NFL). The Dolphins home games are at Hard Rock Stadium in the northern suburb of Miami Gardens, Florida, and are headquartered in Davie, Florida. The Dolphins are one of Florida's professional sports team. Of the four AFC East teams, they are the only team in the division that was not a charter member of the American Football League (AFL).

The Dolphins were founded by Ace Ventura and Ray Finkle.

The phins aren't close to being the worst. If your old enough to remember the browns went o-16 two years in a row.

The 2008 Lions didn't win a game and the 1976 Buccaneers with the effeminate Pirate uniform lost every game too.

Saints fans used to wear paper bags to the games.

In Rod we Rust. Tom Hodson, in over his head. Victor Kiam. Zeke Mowatt and a couple others exposing himself to a woman reporter. The ‘90 Pats were a train wreck which rolled into town at a fat fat 1-15 clip, including 14 L in a row.

It’s gonna be sad and awkward when Flores and company are fired after two years of tanking and don’t get to reap any of the benefits.

Sad and awkward for him, perhaps. But he knew what he was getting into.

1990 Patriots checking in.. -265, 1-15, 11 ppg ..

2017 Browns hardly ever got blown out

Miami is +21 at Dallas next week. If they were +19.5 at home against the Patriots, I wonder what the spread would have been at New England. +25 or so?

Anyway, based on these enormous point spreads, it's fair to say they are already making some historic noise with their ineptitude.

Dolphins just got worse

Interesting that the Steelers aren't throwing in the towel with BR out for the season. Rudolph looked decent against the Seahawks but it will be interesting once teams have some in season game tape on him.

@49ers
Bengals
Ravens
@Chargers

They pretty much have to go 3-1 in their next 4 games with 3 difficult opponents and two of those on the road. That's just to be .500.

1982 colts were pretty bad too. They went 0-8-1 in a strike shortened season. After a 9 week “bye”, they were shut out 2 games in a row. So bad, the fans gave up. After the 2 shut outs, the 3 remaining home games drew 24,000, 26000 and 19000 attendance. That was a team that had sold out through the 5os 60s and 70s. The stadium held about 60000. They left Baltimore after that....

The Dolphins went 7-9 in 2018 and responded by doing a Stalinesque purge until there was almost nothing left, then traded one of their starting DBs on top of that.

All kidding aside, I don't get that AT ALL. Pete Carroll didn't just shoot his entire roster behind the ear when he joined the Seahawks.

The 2009 Rams were worse than the 2008 Lions and 2017 Browns IMO. I think the 2009 Rams are the worst team in the 16 game era

Patriots didn't even try and won 43-0.

Incredible
I guess you are too young to remember some of those old Patriot teams. Check out any team with Mike Taliaferro at QB or the **** McPherson teams. Don't overreact to Dolphins early record. If they start listening to their coaches after game 4 and don't get Josh Rosen killed in games 3 &4 they will win some games and be an improved team at years end. Do you honestly think the Dolphins would be much improved with Tunsil, Stills and Fitzpatrick this year? I don't.
