NFL Week 2 Games

Flacco was done last year, not sure if Elway was more desperate or more wishful thinking that Flacco had something left...but he does not.
Plenty of other far cheaper options he could have chosen. I’d easily have taken Bortles or Tannehill for far less than Flacco.

nice tackling Saints....sheesh

They have something like 12 rookies on the team.
Good for them going forward, I suppose. But yeah, that makes it more understandable how they could be struggling at home against a team that I'm hearing has a less than stellar D.

I might get some hate for this but Bortles is basically discount Foles, who himself is discount Flacco. Seems to remember how to play football during the playoffs. You could do a lot worse in a backup.

I really like the Rams. I keep trying to make The Bears my second favorite team for s few different reasons but I can’t do it- I just enjoy watching LA.

Flacco is still elite

It’s so obvious the bears will get inside the 40 and piniero will miss FG

Should’ve went down quicker but he might get away with it

It’s a joke how easy it is to get the ball in field goAl rAnge

I know Denver is about to win but, some of these coaches are way too into analytics. I know they got it, but going for 2 with a bad QB at home with a good defense is a terrible decision.

Well they lost but still.

You need to score to beat KC. Period. You also need to play some level of defense.

Hold them in the 20s or low 30s. Score 30 or more. That's the formula.

This year will be easier since Hill is out until week 10 or so and their RB sucks.

The bears might finally have a kicker. Feel bad for fangio

Of the teams that “had a shot”...

Steelers
Panthers
Jaguars
Vikings (if Cousins continues current play)

are already out of the playoffs IMO.

I actually agreed with it because Chicago went offside ms so they only needed a yard

Steelers and Broncos both 0-2....

Eh. How did we start last year ?

Give it until W6-W8. Some teams will improve, others will get figured out (cough, Baltimore, cough).

Did the Jaguars actually have a shot, though? Seems they're still living off that magical run to the AFCCG a few years ago more than anything, even if Foles had worked out this season. lol

I agree. I just presumed that Foles would actually give them; at the minimum, a capable QB and that the D would hold up their end of the bargain. Oh well; GO Pats!

Ah, well they originally were going for it at the 5 before the false start.

I know. I hope you don't think I was busting your chops. I was mostly being silly with a little truth. The Jags are wannabes. I will say that their young QB might be something in the future. He's not great or anything, but he has qualities that make me think he can be decent at the very least.
