19-0 . . . Are They Going for It?

Theyll need cannon and/or wynn to have a shot... if so it’s possible. This team is really good on both sides of the ball, best ive seen since 07

Okay, so this won't be the typical 19-0 thread. I'm listening to 98.5 and they're suggesting that the Pats are going after it. They say that it's the reason we went and signed AB after all. What do you all believe? I'm not asking if you want it or think it'll happen. I'm asking do you all believe the Pats want it and are going for it? Discuss
On to the jete

Will gladly take 15-1 or 13-3 with a lombardi trophy as a cherry top.

Don't forget the 2016 team.

They want to go 1-0 19 times.

Bill is just trying to get 19 1-0s.

Holy cow, if they had a toilet seat for a logo, they'd need 19 banners for that many 1-0's!

In a weird way I think the 07 Pats may have been better off losing a game or two during the season. They didn't face alot of adversity during the season. And they got caught up trying to win Madden style. It worked well...until they faced adversity and couldn't adjust against a defense capable of taking away what they did best.

I don't think this Patriots team will go undefeated. Too much parity. It's unrealistic to expect. I don't think anyone will go undefeated again for quite some time. But I do expect them to get the 1 seed. And I don't see another team in the league that is as balanced as this one (Though the OL needs fixing). That's all that matters.

2015 was so humbling for me as a pats fan. What looked like a potential undefeated season turned into a blown game in Denver. And then injuries. and then tough divisional losses lead to blown home field and a heart breaking loss in Denver. 19-0 wont be on my mind unless we are still undefeated after the chiefs game

What they are going for is trying to win every game they play. As every year.

I think the Chiefs and Pats will both be undefeated when they face each other later in the season

I hope so. That will make it all the more exciting.

Every team tries to go 19-0.

Give me 11-5 and Sb champ rather than 18-1 and Sb chump

Yes. It’s the one thing left that Brady and Bill REALLY want

Darn, and here I was hoping it was to have Fraudger hand over trophy #7 while kneeling and kissing their feet and afterward tearfully begging forgiveness and mercy on behalf of The 31.

honestly I would rather the Chiefs fall apart somehow.

Also, win em all if we can, they try to win every game they play. HFA is the regular season goal..

In the 2007 regular season the Pats faced adversity against the (undefeated) Colts, the Ravens, the Eagles, and the Giants and pulled off the W each time.

I should've clarified my statement. Within a game itself they faced adversity. But they never dealt with adversity in the sense of losing a game, and then having to stew about it for a week or so.

One of the more enjoyable aspects of going 19-0 would be listening to all the Boston and some of the national media explain away the accomplishment.

Gotcha. Honestly the pressure was way too much for them. Have you read about their practices before the super bowl?

That would be fun and infuriating at the same time. lol
