Horrible stretch to start the year and poor end to last season. Sounds like it’s the end of the road for the goat

Looks like a wrap on his career. Can't believe he made it this long.

Sad. Enjoy your retirement, Adam.

Does this make Brady the oldest guy in the league???

Hard to believe he actually spent more seasons with Indy than the Pats.

Matt Bryant for the Falcons is 44 I believe. I don’t think he came into the league until 2002ish though, so would probably make Brady the longest active player.

Wonderful career for a great guy. Will never forget the clutch kicks when they were most needed.

Need some context you sure he's not just saying he'll be here tomorrow to work and get it right?

Which would mean no players are left from the 20th century..

It’s speculation. I don’t think he told anybody specifically what he means aside from that the media will hear from him.

If so, it would be so sad to see it end this way. It's not as sad, but I remember feeling like I hated seeing Kobe be a shell of himself by the end. I'm more upset about AV.

That's because they weren't his best ones. For us he will always be Adamatic Vinamoney.
You know, THIS GUY:

If he retires....I will always love him for that 46 yard line drive to tie the snow game on January 19th, 2002....before I even had a HDTV......

Since when is that newsworthy?
When a player has a bad his quotes are newsworthy. Just want context before I jump to conclusions.

Impossible forget what he has done for the Patriots...awesome...let s see...

I think nobody had HDTV in 2002

Great player, great guy, great career.. Wish him only the best in his retirement

I think the game tying kick in the snow against Oakland is the greatest kick ever. Especially when you consider the situation and conditions. If he misses that, the Pats season is over. Likely no dynasty 1.0. Everything is different.

well, "technically" Brady was a rookie in the last year of the 20th century. (2000 is the last year in actuality of that century. 2001 is the first year of this century. WE people colloquially DO talk about it as being 2000 in the next century, but it is funny thing we do that is actually incorrect. People basically "agree" to consider it the first year of the decade, century, millennium, BUT it is in actuality the last year of those things).

:)

Best kicker ever and a HOFer.

Does Max Kellerman have him over the cliff?
