I'm sure he had some idea of what that front office was thinking, but he can't have thought they were going to tank to this extent.

I honestly think this might end up a better defense than 2007. I'm not sure our offense will be that good, but the potential is there. Nobody as good as Moss but a lot more skill in the WR2-5 spots and better running back corps. OL is gonna be the big obvious question mark.

Agreed.

They probably clued him in on a “rebuild”, but this is literally something entirely worse.

They’re not putting him in any sort of position for success, even if the goal was a few years down the line.

Running the ball keeps Brady from getting hit. I don't care about the score at this point. Just get TFB home in one piece.
