They should blow them out right? This Miami stadium thing lingers in my mind once in awhile. Remind myself Pats have defeated them handily down there a few times.

Rookie Cowart gets his first start over Wise. Hope Pats have a double digit half-time lead so he can play a lot in the 2nd half.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't try to trade Wise. It makes me wonder if they plan to run the 4-3 primarily for certain games this year. That would be the only reason to keep him.

Inactives with comparison to injury reports.

Week 2 at Miami:
RB Brandon Bolden (hamstring, out)
OT Marcus Cannon (shoulder, questionable)
DE Deatrich Wise
CB Joejuan Williams
RB Damien Harris
WR Jakobi Meyers
OL Jermaine Eluemunor
  • The only two-week inactives are rookie healthy scratches: Williams and Harris
  • Meyers hits the bench to make room for Antonio Brown
  • Wise sits to make room for Van Noy
  • Cunningham adds depth with Cannon hurt
  • Cowart and Cunningham get their first real game with the Pats

Week 1 vs Steelers:
Safety Obi Melifonwu (ankle)
WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring)
LB Kyle Van Noy (birth of first child)
CB Joejuan Williams
RB Damien Harris
DL Byron Cowart
OL Korey Cunningham
  • Williams, Harris and Cowart are rookies
  • Cunningham had only been with the team for 10 days

With the exception of those having a child I am assuming if a player was not on an injury report and was inactive, then he was a healthy scratch.

2019 Healthy Scratches:
(2) CB Joejuan Williams
(2) RB Damien Harris
(1) DE Deatrich Wise
(1) WR Jakobi Meyers
(1) OL Jermaine Eluemunor
(1) DL Byron Cowart
(1) OL Korey Cunningham

Week 2 at Miami:
RB Brandon Bolden (hamstring, out)
OT Marcus Cannon (shoulder, questionable)
TE Matt LaCosse (ankle, questionable)
DE Deatrich Wise
CB Joejuan Williams
RB Damien Harris
WR Jakobi Meyers
  • The only two-week inactives are rookie healthy scratches: Williams and Harris
  • Meyers hits the bench to make room for Antonio Brown
  • Wise sits to make room for Van Noy
  • Melifonwu takes Bolden's place on special teams
Obi is on the practice squad now

I don't know why it is that I felt Bennett wasn't good last game. I guess i didn't look close enough. Maybe if I got to watch the all 22 I would have seen it differently.

I just don't think his style is very flashy, or ever has been.

  • LaCosse had the bad ankle last week too, but played anyways. That leaves Ryan Izzo as the only true tight end today.

Great post but Obi is not on the roster (PS).

Wise/Meyers healthy starters scratched

Who will win more games in Miami this year, the dolphins Or the patriots?

Hint: SB is there.

Honestly. That is a wonderful question. Both hilarious and thought provoking. I might honestly side with the Patriots push comes to shove. Keep in mind Miami only has 8 homes games ;)

Ha, Darnold. “What’s up ladies?”
2 women simultaneously “No thanks” as they walk away.

Josh has always been a freak but he looks like a damn terminator this year sheesh.

After trading for Cunningham, Elu, Bodin . its the guy from the street that gets to start..
