You **********.......go **** yourself

And furthermore, **** **** you ******* *****
You seem to be contradicting the other poster with language that is not quite ladylike for a Sunday morning.

Partridge Family....Shirley Jones drove me nuts

Charmed, and precisely and only 2 episodes of Gilligan's Island.

I Dream of Jennie.

You guys have low standards!

But here is what I have learned after nearly a half century of observing human behavior:
Your observational acumen must be quite powerful indeed, informed by NEARLY 50 YEARS of discernment! Who else among us is qualified to possess such self-proclaimed wisdom?

Many sports fans boost their self image by conflating their own lives with the success of the team they follow.
Fascinating ... But how many of these delusional fools have you observed are out there? (A rough estimate should suffice.)

It is a form of virtue signalling,
Ah yes, of course!

and the Patriots' success have enabled a lot of people
Again, please quantify this syndrome as best you can so we might act accordingly. Perhaps a few anecdotes from your learned experience would be helpful.

who otherwise don't have a lot going for them a reason to look down their noses at other people.
But this seems to argue that Jets fans should be Patriots fans. Since you live in New Jersey, please explain why more aren't like you and why Jets fans even exist. (I have my own theory on this but would appreciate knowing your observational perspective.)

Understanding that, it follows that anything that tarnishes the Patriots is perceived as an attack on their own self image. Thus you get things like the previous 145 pages of rage, denial, rationalizing, deflecting, and insipid attacks on fellow fans. Once you understand this, is it easy to see the analog behaviors in other social domains.
You know, I once subscribed to Psychology Today. Might be time to renew so I can update my grasp of pop terminology.

True. But good luck beating the NFL to court, since the NFL knows when it's going to release the arbitrator's decision and can file a lawsuit to uphold the decision the second the decision is released and before the player's legal team can react, just like the NFL did in the Brady case, pinning it in the 2nd Circuit.

And even if a suit manages to get filed in another circuit, while the CA2 decision isn't binding precedent, it is precedent, and other circuits may view it as convincing.

So a different panel in a different case will yield the same result as the split panel did in the Brady case, when the sharpest knife in the drawer (Judge Katzman) was in the minority? Don’t bet the house on that.

back to topic:

The NFL will interview the accuser tomorrow. Seems like things will move extremely quickly here.

You guys disappoint me. Only 251 pages before he plays a down for us.

Anyhoo. He made the trip to Miami. We'll see either (1) a horrified "everybody else" reaction when he plays, or (b) a horrified "everybody else" reaction that we'd use the situation as a tool to mess with Flores, if he doesn't play.

The "Search Google for Image" feature is pretty handy.
So missed obvious sarcasm isn't just for Jet jokes, good to know.

Not really news. Was already reported they were meeting next week because they couldn't meet last week because she was supposedly getting married.

What's the number of pages record for a thread on this site anyway?
