Turdsday Night Football Thread presented by Froob: Tampa Bay Succaneers vs Carolina Panthers

Had money on Panthers, so I'm very annoyed at the outcome. It felt like Cam was doing everything possible to lose the ****ing game. Same goddamn drive, he turns the ball over twice. First the interception that gets erased by a penalty, then a fumble. Underthrowing, overthrowing, no bullet passes, no short passes to slow down the pass rush.

Then, on his final drive, the refs and the Bucs coaching staff were giving him every opportunity to score a game winning TD. I mean, refs giving him a first down when it was clearly short and the Bucs not challenging? Bucs trying to call 2 timeouts in a row (Even I knew you couldn't do that because you can't on Madden. lol.)? End zone was right the **** there, but against all odds Cam and the offense found a way to do the unthinkable -- lose. **** the Panthers.

It was as if Rivera/Arians were competing with Newton/Winston to see which level of football last night was more incompetent. The coaches or the QBs. That two-in-a-row timeout penalty on Arians at the end of the game - - to bring the ball halfway closer to the endzone (which, of course the Panthers upped the hilarity by blowing the goalline) was Monty Pythonesque.

Watch cam have the game of his life against us in 2021 if hes still playing

And they should really move on from him. Watching him via the skycam last night was shocking- it showed just how much he is getting by on talent alone. He doesn't even try to diagnose what the defense is showing, doesn't even bother engaging in body language to fake his intents, doesn't even hold the safety over MOF. He just goes right for what he deems is the open guy.

Makes me think of Brett Favre- it never surprises me that there are and continues to be QB's that just get by on talent alone.

I think Cam will be fine. He isn't running the ball like he used to.....something is up, IMO.

Denver broke him in the SB. Yah, he was still good enough to kick our asses in Gillette 2017, but our D was uncoordinated and racking up 3rd down penalties all day. Plus, Brady to Dwayne Allen mosques EDIT: mistakes killed the O.

Friggin autocorrect

That game still annoys me....and it followed the Kuechly-non-call-on-Gronk game in Charlotte a few years before that.

Obviously the problem is Cam is slowly turning in to an 80 year old polish woman.

What a laughable, unprofessional joke of a "leader" he is.

If we had won the 2015 AFCC, I hope that we wouldn't have had to suffer the indignity of watching this embarrassment to Doug Williams & Warren Moon call himself a champion.

Huge win for TB in a short week, on the road and inside division.

Car is 0-2...both L at home...Olsen so good but not enough for the win

Newton looks not good at all...

Imagine if the Patriots had been the ones getting the short-yardage markup to a 1st down. NFL Memes and Twitter would be blowing up about how we're once again cheating.

“I feel OK,” Newton said after the Thursday night game when asked if he felt comfortable running the ball. “You’re not going to hear no type of reasons why tonight didn’t go as planned. I have to be better. No matter what physical condition I’m in, no matter what foot or shoulder, I didn’t get the job done tonight. It’s frustrating, and I wish I could say something other than that but that’s the facts.”

I am not making any excuses for what happened tonight! My foot and shoulder are both injured, but there’s no way I’m even going to mention that.
