Well the CBA will be changing, it's just a question of how much. If the players are smart, the Commissioner's dictator-like abilities go way down.
That's a big "if" especially if NFLPA leadership wants to keep them out and the players with a 3-4 year window to earn $$ sees it as non-recoverable..... I hate to say it, but I think they'll cave to the owners like they always do....

Lawyers tend to say a lot of things that aren't always true and spin things.........Polygraphs are unreliable which is why they are NOT admissible in court and if you have the right medications on board, you can trick a polygraph.....
It also depends on the person administering the test and the questions asked...

Drugs That Affect a Lie Detector Test | Livestrong.com

I’m just curious how she did on the third-party lie detector test administered by law enforcement, which was readily available at any time provided she filed a report.

ah..makes sense...flimsy IMO

With all due respect, the entire allegation is flimsy, given the facts we already know. I cannot believe it's even being discussed as though Brown might actually be guilty of this. She didn't go to the police, because the police would have seen all the facts we have seen and declined to prosecute. And for all the Goodell-paranoid worriers, if Rodge actually put Brown on the list for this, that would be the end of his Commissioner days and he knows it. Getting at the Pats is one thing, but the dude's not going to toss his career down the toilet just to put Brown in the exempt list. Even if it is his sworn goal to bring the Pats down, he wouldn't do it over this. Step back from the ledge, people. Brown is going to do good things for the New England Patriots.

God I hope we go scorched earth on the league. I hope we run up the score and rub it in every chance we get. The league and fans wants us to be the bad guys? Fine, were the bad guys.

Well, the difference is the monetary compensation she no doubt paid to this "3rd party" that the regular police department would not have received if they had administered the poly.

Being the bad guy is fine, buy I'm honestly kinda over it after "deflate gate". That **** almost killed my passion for sports for a while - not as a Patriots fan, but just the whole experience of being a sports fan, sports media, radio, etc. 2+ years of that was unbearable.

I'm not a religious person, but I hope Matthew Slater takes Brown under his wing and shows him how to be a true christian and how to act with class and dignity.

I don't think jacking off to religious shows is how it works.

Hopefully, the Pats environment can insulate him from the media and allow him to get his act together.

He needs to take a tall glass of STFU and enjoy football and his lovely boys.
He appears to need structure in both his personal and professional life.

I hope he does well here and gets well here.

only if you let it. I just don't understand why people feel the need to listen to all the noise, especially the crap radio idiots. I watch sports for the enjoyment of the game. Turn the TV on at 1:00 and watch your team. Why torment yourself to other people's opinions? who the eff cares?

Within entirely the context of what is now within media(meaning subject to change, subject to lies), this barely even rises to the level of flimsy. When it comes to sexual assault you hate to rush to judgment but the story portrayed and the suspect realities of it, this really is paper thin.

did you leave your house or interact with the human race in any way during the deflate gate saga? ****ing everyone, everywhere was spewing out dogmatic, nonsensical patriot hate from every orifice. And I live in New England.

It the long run it was probably a good thing, since the NYJFL was exposed for what they are. I no longer give any credence to Spygate either, as that happened during a time when I thought the league was trying to do what’s fair. All in all, I like being a Patriots fan better post-Deflategate. It’s way more satisfying to win, especially when the other fanbases whine about cheating. I think even they realize at this point just how desperate their rhetoric is. Even on message board of direct rivals, Patriots Discredited threads tend to gain very little steam and are often embarrassing to other fans. That did not happen prior to 2015.

Yep.

I'm so done with the AB news but angry about it at the same time. Rather than battle with fellow Patsfans on the topic I go to Chiefs Planet.:p
Just joined as "AFCCGFinalist" and doing a little light trolling on this fine saturday morning.

This guy did not like my response to the kid proposing they trade the 32nd pick for Fitzpatrick

If you could kindly give us a comprehensive list of which consensual sex acts are how it works, and which aren't, my bucket list would I'd appreciate that.

I guess not..nice being self employed. ..and again..so what? Who cares what anyone else says, doesn't effect my enjoyment of watching the Pats on Sundays.

Try being a native New Englander living outside NE in a football crazed city....

Not wanting to step on any toes here (Rex Ryan Joke) but could you clear up for me what shows it is acceptable to jack off to?

Cheating excuse is like an inferiority complex with other fan bases. If you look at that game people won’t bring up how bad Warner played in that game with the turnovers. Same as the game with the eagles where McNabb was terrible. The early 2000s pats defenses where very good maybe underrated by folks.

Thing is, unless this girl brings evidence I dont see how Goodell can suspend brown on mere he said she said stuff. And what happens if the lawsuit gets dismissed?

I mean they are going to talk to her whom is going to say essentially what she said in the lawsuit and then talk to brown who is going to deny it. Really dont get the endgame here.
This is how I feel. Now she may indeed have some evidence (by "evidence" I am thinking incriminating texts or something like that) but if it's merely he-said-she-said, I just don't see how you can punish the guy in a just world.

A lot of jealousy now that he’s on the patriots. People hate the patriots, they don’t want us to win number 7.
Yeah, but enough about Shank Shaugnessey….

Welcome to example 7,312 why I am a 'bad' person. I survived the broke ass Sullivans, Otis the carpetbagger and Vile Victor, those whiners couldn't impact this battle scarred hide if they had a damn jealousy driven RPG. Their faux outrage is the straw that stirs the drink I make with their anguished envy driven tears. God have mercy on my soul, I love every second of it.
