Unfortunately Dion the ankle breaker broke his own ankle on that play.

I've said numerous times that the Patriots tend to keep 4 or 5 players on the game day (46-man) roster primarily or solely for their ST value? Well, Gunner's one of those players at the moment.

Personally, I think he's on the Ebner/Edelman plan: his "role" on the team, at the moment, is STs. If he develops into another Edelman, the Patriots will be beyond thrilled. If he "just" turns into another Ebner, the Patriots will still be very happy.
