I’m lit right now and very confused why we are comparing Gunner to dion

(whispers)

They both have cat-like quickness.

I liked Dion and I am starting to like Gunner
They both are steadfast workers
They both are quick and elusive
They both are small
They both are/were obscure
Plus I hate to say this but they both are /were Underdogs o_O

If your a UDFA or your name ends in SKI you got a good chance to make the team. If your a UDFA with a name that ends in SKI your Golden :p

A trip back in time about a decade or so ago would reveal vivid similarities between the comments about Edelman and those now about Gunner. Before anyone has a fatal diarrhea attack, I'm not suggesting he will ever approach Edelman's success, but the likenesses in terms of opinions are eerily similar.

If he ever takes a PR to the house people will lose their minds. Seriously, the way he plays resembles a young Edelman. The thing is, Julian never lost any of that drive or fire.

No. He is going to be the next Dion “Primetime” Sanders. CB, WR and PR

That would electrify this board

I expect Gunner to be inactive whenever Edelman is at 100%. He is a PS player, who we are so afraid of losing (reasonably) that we are willing to use a roster spot on him as a developmental player, #5WR/PR.

I'm always OK with using 1 or 2 of the inactive roster spots on developmental players.

I want him active as punt and kick returner.
I think he can handle that role and maybe a gunner in a pinch.

Just as constructing the 53 man roster is challenging, the next layer of difficulty involves deciding who actually suits up.

Look at potential.

It is very early for Gunner however both came from obscurity.

Both are small and elusive. (Dion has more power in his legs)

.
Dion Lewis was a 2-year starter at Pitt.

I feel vindicated.
Peter King in this week's FIMA column just compared Gunner to Troy Brown.

Cool...
1. Its Peter King
2. Yes, GO and TB both played WR and CB
3. We can also compare Jarrett Stidam and Tom Brady...They both play QB....

We all want GO to be the next big thing. Lets see if he:
1. Stays on the team
2. Stays injury free
3. Plays well.

Troy Brown was an amazing football player. I think we are setting the bar a little high here.

Anytime we have a poll, we should all be concerned that Ray Lewis killed two people and is out frevand on tv talking about praising the play of grown men instead of in jail being raped by grown men!

That is true. (Pitt is a household name yet I cannot pronounce the name of the school Gunner went to). Injuries sidetracked him so he did not garner the attention he deserved. He had a "cup of coffee" with the Eagles, the Browns, and the Colts before coming here yet when he was signed, expectations were pretty low.

It's like a jungle sometimes,
Makes me wonder
how I keep from going under.

I said a hip, hop, the hippie
The hippie dibby hip hop hop and you don't stop
To rock it to the bang bang boogie
Say up jump the boogie,

To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat
A Skiddleebebop, we rock, and Scooby Doo
And guess what? America, we love you
'Cause you rock and a roll with ah so much soul
