Wow! I never put anything past park* ave, I always think worse case scenario when it comes to goodell* and Pats but I'll take it and run.... for now anyway. LETS GOOO!!!

Would be nice if a Patsfans poster (Joker perhaps) filed a civil suit against Goodell, and he was forced to put himself on the exempt list.

They where in a consensual relationship something brown has always stated. She has said it was professional. When he said i busted your back it could have been after sex.

Then why is he laughing and taunting her about it?

She actually said they had a "brother/sister" relationship.

Look, I don't find her story credible. I already stated that. I don't find his story credible either (that none of this is true).

I understand, but taunting someone about a sexual activity doesn’t make you guilty of rape or any other crime. Makes you childish but not guilty of a crime.

I never said it did. I'm trying to imagine being on a jury and those texts make it seem as though he did something she didn't want him to do. Couple that with the idiotic letter he signed, and you have a problem with this guy. But she loses credibility with her claims when it comes to the videos.

In other words, this is all clear as mud.

What was the timing of the "taunting"? I can see him doing that if it happened after her law suit was filed. It's not a huge stretch to imagine her thinking it no big deal at the time. Maybe they did "playful" sex things like that to each other. Maybe he just thought it would be funny. Maybe she laughed about it, maybe she was annoyed about it. Maybe she merely tolerated it. If that's the case then I can see how Brown might taunt her about it now that she's filed a law suit against him. On the other hand if she hated it. If she hated him for doing it and he knew that then he is an ahole for taunting her about it now. I just think anyone who has dug in about "knowing" what happened should rethink their position. It's all speculation right

It's all speculation until you get in a courtroom and the jury is asked to decide the context. Then taunting becomes something else. I mean, he can explain it away too, but he better be damn convincing. If I had to bet, he's not that good of an actor.

Got a link to that letter?
We have seen the vids showing her to be a liar, so I would need to see a copy of this letter.

The lawyer mentioned it. I said earlier that unless this is all a big lie, the letter will surface. If the lawyer just made that up, then he couldn't be dumber.

(Edit: Sorry, as you can see I have never had the talent for conciseness.)

The first reference in the texts to jacking on her back doesn't make sense as a taunt. Both texts are about how angry he is that she's trying to extort him, angrily talking about how she and her mom should pick an easier mark next time, and so on.

The first part of the text to me read like, "We were intimate, we did all these things, I can't believe you're extorting me." For example, an analogous text might read, "We walked along the river holding hands! We had romantic dinners by candlelight! We were sleeping together! How could you sleep with my best friend and say we were just friends?"

To read the first part as a taunt doesn't jive with the second sentence, "slept with u n bed!" AB is saying "we were really intimate. We slept together in bed. I jacked off on your back."

The reference to "jacking off on her back" could easily just mean they were doing doggy and he unloaded on her back at the end instead of inside her.

Now look at the second reference to jacking off on her back in the second text. me n (redacted) a laugh about this **** me busing on your back!" He calls it "this ****." Let's say he did jack off on her back, but only in the context of finishing after doggy style. So to AB, the fact she's making up some ridiculous story about him masturbating and finishing on her while watching a religious video sets him off. That's why he calls it "this ****" and the story's so stupid that he and his friend(s) are laughing about it.

Now to me that's an easily plausible explanation. Both stories are going to be unprovable.

Regardless, the original interpretation doesn't make sense to me, because he's clearly saying, "we slept together in bed, we were intimate, I can't believe you're coming up with this extortion garbage and texting my team, etc." Wouldn't follow logically to frame an argument, "(<TAUNT>) (<EVIDENCE OF INTIMACY>, <HOW COULD YOU DO THIS>"

haha I pulled the chair out from under you when you were sitting down! We were intimate in bed, so I can't believe you're pulling all this!"

Instead, to me he's clearly doing,
EXAMPLE OF INTIMACY (jacking off on her back after doggy)
EXAMPLE OF INTIMACY (we slept together in bed)
then following with, "WE WERE REALLY INTIMATE, HOW CAN YOU BE TREATING ME LIKE THIS."

Well, good stuff, you certainly tried. I have to hand it to you.

But--not buying it. I jacked on you doesn't translate to, "We were intimate," at least not to me.

Anyhow, I can say that I am OK with him on the Patriots if more doesn't come out about the rape, but I'm really not rooting for him personally.

I can actually see the team releasing him eventually because of all this, but since he likely won't lose this case against her, he should stay in the league.

I can only think of a couple of Patriots I had disdain for, and he's certainly one of them.

Yeah, Brady "lost" that because they concluded the CBA gave the commissioner basically unrestricted power to do anything regardless of the merit of the case.

I wish there was a good post reaction with 'I hate that you are right.'

Then why is he laughing and taunting her about it?

She actually said they had a "brother/sister" relationship.

Look, I don't find her story credible. I already stated that. I don't find his story credible either (that none of this is true).

Those texts are from June. They had a fallout and he was angry or what not and putting her down. Listen the guy’s not someone you would want your daughter going out with it but this woman lied in her lawsuit about the status of their relationship. She said their relationship was mostly professional but those videos speak otherwise. She claims she was raped in May against her will. She said no and everything. If those videos are after may 20 she has some explaining to do. Rape is a serious charge. A lot of women are affected by it. They don’t go back to their alleged rapist.

I have to make an important correction. Someone several pages back said AB Superman'd her. This is inaccurate. It is important to get the facts, as we know them, correct.

He Spiderman'd her, which would be mimicking the act of flinging a web.

I have never heard of a Superman, but the way he flies with one fist forward, I have a guess what being Superman'd might be.

Well they can do whateva they want. It’s their company. AB is far from a saint and no matter if he’s innocent this will hung over his head. Neymar got lucky with the video. Maybe brown wil have the same fate. We shall see.

If this gets exposed as a money grab, will she write a new article about that and warn us of the danger of false accusations from women and how the Patriots can be admired for not acting too hastily?
Of course not. It will be about how a pro athlete got away with rape, just like how Eli got away with fraud, and Payton got away with Sexual assault, and Ray Lewis got away with murder and Tyreek Hill got away with child abuse.

Wait, I dont think they wrote those ..

Today, our good friend and Soothsayer, Rush Limbaugh so eloquently and succinctly explained why the NFL cannot place Brown on the Exempt list over mere salacious accusations.

Gambling is involved and once you travel down this road there is precedent going forward.

All one would need to do is find a person to allege wrong doing against any NFL player before a big game so he lands on the list. Cha Ching!
