Got a link to that letter?
We have seen the vids showing her to be a liar, so I would need to see a copy of this letter.

I tried to go to the video link but my virus program stopped me and said the site was "phishing."

No one (on this forum) said it's okay to judge and condemn Brown based on an accusation alone. I'd like to see the same standard applied to Taylor, too.
Why? She’s already lied about their past relationship and everything we know, to date, states that this is a money grab. Why should she get that same benefit if she’s already openly lied?

Too bad that you won’t see the vid. One would think outlets like ESPN would pick it up.

Oh baby, other fans about to have a meltdown.

Yeah about how Gooddell loves the Patriots and how the Pats get all the breaks
(when we know the Pats always have a target on their back.)

don't like the sounds of this letter..if there is one.

No criminal charges or going to police = shady

I know people who are victims of sexual assault, they don't wait two years and then sue in civil court only.

He’s asking why would he taunt her? The relationship got sour. He stopped making payments on her gym.

No surprise he won't be on the list at this time, it's early accusations in civil court, nothing criminal.

I have a feeling this is an easy one I’m just missing, but what is MOF?

What does MOF stand for?

I looked it up and I’m wondering if it’s Metal Organic Framework or Minister of Food? Hoping it isn’t Multiple Organ Failure.

Middle of Field for me. Maybe should have been MoF to be more obvious.

Unless I missed the sarcasm because Multiple Organ Failure is what can easily happen around that area.

I don't think he could legally place him there before the NFL investigation is concluded anyway.

I know we like to say "he can do whatever he says" but Wallach has a different opinion based on the CBA:

So once the NFL investigation is formally wrapping up is when the hammer might drop.

Read Wallach’s very next tweet after that one. He points out the weasel words in the CBA that gives Goodell a huge door to suspend Brown.

Thanks for pointing that out. Not sure how I missed that tweet. Yeah generally speaking I think even the NFL will stay away from purely civil disputes until there is something solid to go on. But then again they were trying to brush asides fundamental thermodynamics so who the hell knows.

Shocked

Basically a criminal investigation NEEDS to happen for him to land on the list UNLESS it can be proven that the girl is TRUSTWORTHY and Brown is not. Based on what we have heard and seen so far this seems very unlikely.

Based on the language, I don't know how Wallach came to that conclusion. The two clauses basically say "look, we'll only put you on this list if you formally get charged by a crime" followed by "actually it doesn't matter if you get formally charged with a crime or not because we'll put you on the list if we want to, for reasons that don't need to meet any criteria." The CBA is largely a joke whereby almost every clause that limits the commissioner's power is negated by another clause which makes it unlimited and unchecked.

Can’t the DA bring charges against him without her consent since she states she was sexually assaulted?
Of course he can. Neither an alleged victim’s consent nor cooperation is needed to prosecute an alleged offender. Of course, if there isn’t cooperation it makes the prosecution’s job a lot harder.

That’s nice. But it’s not what the CBA says and is not what Roger has to adhere to.

Under the CBA the Commissioner could still put him on the exempt list. The NFLPA would probably grieve it in that case.
And they would likely lose under the Brady precedent. See McCann’s piece on si.com from this morning.

Yeah, Brady "lost" that because they concluded the CBA gave the commissioner basically unrestricted power to do anything regardless of the merit of the case.
