Good. I did not like the AB signing but to punish someone based on this unsworn civil suit that has elements which have already been shown as questionable by video evidence would be a bad situation. Again look what happened with Edelman when he was arrested for indecent assault and battery. It took a few weeks to get the video and for it to come out it was all fake. Should he have been put on the list?

I’m sure Goddell is praying this all goes away after next week.

Ok, this guys Larry Moss, there are records of him beating AB’s mom and he has the audacity to say this in public? And reporters lead with that. This is becoming sad.
He's clearly not on the AB gravy train anymore

Makes sense. Guess he’ll stick for now...

I don't think he could legally place him there before the NFL investigation is concluded anyway.

I know we like to say "he can do whatever he says" but Wallach has a different opinion based on the CBA:

So once the NFL investigation is formally wrapping up is when the hammer might drop.
There needs to be a criminal investigation. It's unlikely coming so Brown will continue to play.

I'm really surprised the NFL decided not to do it. I thought they'd use the "shield" BS defense.

So Belichick and the Patriots actually know what they are doing... shocking.

There doesn't need to be a criminal investigation. It is enough if the NFL investigation concluded that something might have happened after listening to the accuser next week. Same goes for a suspension.

AB must have have some childhood. This is turning into a sadder issue.

This is true but the way Schefter and Rapsheet talk, it won't happen without a criminal investigation.

Putting AB on the exempt list at this point would open a dangerous precedent to nfl players being extorsed for money in similar situations, because they would have to choose between play or pay..
And this isn't a defense of AB or being against sexual crimes victims..

Goodell wants Brown to be eligible. He is not the issue.

The 31 other NFL owners disagree. I am sure Goodell wanted to not suspend Brady but the owners forced him to.

I think that is a reasonable line to set but we are talking about RG and the NFL clown office so who knows.

Still trying to wrap my head around the two of them meeting at the "Fellowship of Christian Athletes" and then either:
1. they hook up and then she tries to "grift" him
2. he commits sexual assault against her multiple times
