Where did she say it was a strictly business relationship? I read where she said they had a brother/sister relationship. So, not strictly business.

& can we just ignore his texts to her admitting incident #2?

Or the crazy letter he supposedly signed that he would no longer make any sexual advances?
we are people saying he admitted to #2? His text doesn't say it wasn't consensual and he never admitted to jacking off on her as she stated in the complaint.

If they were in discussions why did she file a lawsuit?

The obvious answer is that AB and his legal team would not agree to pay her, or at least ly her what she was asking for. Makes me think that AB’s defense evidence is pretty damn strong. Otherwise, you would think that a payoff with a NDA would have been in his best interest.

Yes he did. The question is was it consensual.

One of the all time greatest players in NFL history has had a" trainer" go after him as well.......What happened? NADA.

Let's just hope they were both "mis-characterized" in sexual misconduct and both not guilty. Barstool brought this up. Manning is one of the most sought after former NFL spokespersons.

"University of Tennessee Being Sued For Letting Peyton Manning Drag His Nuts On A Female Trainers Face And Basically Laughing About It."

The lawsuit says “in 1996, (then) Jamie Whited, the first female associate trainer in UT’s history, reported an incident to the Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Knoxville alleging UT football player Peyton Manning had, in brief, ‘sat on her face’ while she was assessing the extent of an injury. The incident was settled in 1997 … conditioned on the victim leaving her job at the university.” The UT lawsuit cites a USA Today article from 2003 about the woman’s subsequent lawsuit against Manning for his reference to her in his book.

Here is a potential NFL horror story. If Peyton was not punished and Brown is.....holy hell will break out on the racial equal justice forefront

The NFL has to face either the #metoo movement or the SJW machine......."sticky wicket" I'd say! Good luck with that.........

Of course if AB losses the law suit big time as evidence is substantial, then all bets are off. Still see his word against her's.
Thoughts?

Bullshite. I'm no fan of Peyton, but that woman was crazy and he was slandered by her and Sean King of the NY Daily News. This subject was discussed at length here several years ago.

It’s so well documented that victims of abuse very often go back to their abuser for a whole host of reasons that it’s frankly disgusting that this entire thread is willing to just take her continued interactions with Brown as conclusive proof that the abuse must not have happened.

Oh, really? So in those cases the victims repeatedly took thousand mile flights to visit their abusers while trying to scam them out of 1.6 million dollars?

There’s a big difference between “not allowed to divulge” and “actively marketing something that could put the buyer at risk”.

AB couldn’t divulge this situation, that’s understood.

Does that mean it was it was ok that he actively marketed himself (after campaigning to get out of his then contract) to an unknowing Patriots organization, thus exposing that Patriots to a risk that only he knew existed?

The analogy would be someone with HIV. Doesn’t have to divulge unless getting into bed with another person. That other person getting infected has a valid complaint.

The Patriots have every right to be pissed off at him for that if he was not dealing with them in good confidence.

He's not going to try to get work because of the possibility he might get sued? That's just not realistic.

Marqui, he had work. You know that.

He wasn’t out of work when the lawyers negotiations were going on. He chose to burn his way out of Oakland and market himself to another team that had no idea what it was signing onto.

He first campaigned to get out of his current contract to go out to another team that had no idea what risk he was bringing.

Look at that language in the contract that was highlighted yesterday about not doing anything that could negatively affect the franchise. Marketing himself with the franchise being at a non-discovery disadvantage could very well be that.

Well he's still on the team and on the practice field so they can't be that mad at him.

The Pats are in a bad position here with what happened with the owner this offseason. They can’t take action here until there is due process (and hopefully it very quickly is settled that AB is innocent). That’s why there is so much chatter about the NFL Exempt list. It’s a very bad look for the Pats to take any action at this point.

There are so many inconsistencies in Ms. Taylor’s allegation. Hopefully, the investigation turns up that Brown is fully cleared very soon.

Thats what I said when Kraft got busted. He lost his moral authority dealing with players. He'll look like a hypocrite. I agree I hope this gold-digger gets exposed soon and they can salvage this mess they got themselves into.

The only investigation taking place is the NFL’s and I wouldn’t trust those morons to investigate anything. They certainly won’t be clearing anyone.

Our best hope is that the NFL realizes that suspending a player based on zero evidence is a bad look (and the Commissioner’s List is no different from a suspension AFAIC). I’m not getting my hopes up though.

Wait, your saying because he had sexual relations with a consenting adult for money, he can not punish Brown if he feels Brown raped a girl? How the hell do you even equate the two. It is not like he is telling his teen age daughter to wait until she gets married to have sex.

The way he tried to delay, obstruct and get out of it with all his lawyers and tie it up in court and preach the constitution and everything. Yet he looked to everyone like a guy with a lot of money who got caught by police paying a prostitute. When players get caught we get the speech about character, code of conduct, swift justice and all that.

Did I read your post correctly that you think Kraft should punish Antonio Brown if he FEELS that he did it????? This isn't elementary school. No one is going to take a roster action in this case based on gut feelings. Least of which someone who faced some pretty harsh limelight a few months ago. Think for a second. That would be a pretty bad look.

No. Regarding the allegations in that case, the Patriots do nothing until at least the NFL investigation finds culpability, further Brown is innocent until found guilty by a court of law. If he is guilty, then he should be punished to the full extent of the law, the Patriots should cut him and take every penny they can from him.

Why is that hard to understand?

Hey, I'm not like a lot of other folks here who suddenly became AB fans in the past 96 hours. I don't like AB. But he deserves the same rights as anyone else and not to be punished because of someone's "feelings" about a very serious allegation.

well...YOU are nuttier than a Christmas fruit cake then....and BTW....human growth hormone shipped from overseas for his wife's pregnancy? Another made up lie? Krist, don't start ...and don't bullshyt anybody with that "I'm no fan of Peyton" LIE.

The University of Tenn tried to get Nautright to change her story , to blame a BLACK player instead of Peytie Pooch. YOU are relying on a subsequent claim by one of Peytie's friends on the UT football squad, years later when he was a cop in Florida, saying while he was there in the locker room, all he saw was Manning pulling his shorts down. He then admits he LEFT the lockeroom and didn't see anything else. HE WAS PAID OFF FOR CHRISSAKES.

Again, you are no fan of Manning? why would you go out of your way to use a bunch of spun PR BS orchestrated by Manning to deflect blame away from him, yet make ZERO) MENTION of the preposterous "my wife's HGH...really!!" sub-mongoloidal Manning alibi.

Apparently the discussions broke down.

Prob when ABs side told her she wasn’t getting anywhere near the $$ she was looking for.
