Ran a fake Philly Special needing half a yard. Brain dead play calling and godawful quarterback play on both sides. Miserable football and a waste of an evening.

Well, we can think of Gerald McCoy as a potential half season rental when Carolina is 1-6 at the end of October. Only about $1.8 million cap hit for half the season.

Thursday night football isn't usually great unless the Pats are playing but this was some of the ugliest football I've had the displeasure of watching. This was a trainwreck that I just couldn't take my eyes off of. Also Rivera should be fired for trotting an injured Cam Newton out onto the field.

I liked how Riveria did in this game. He clearly knows the rule book. And Norv's last play call was how I would have done it, just didn't work out.

The Panthers lost by going away from CMC too much. CMC had 53 yards on 17 touches thru three quarters....gonna need more touches than that, IMO.

Incredible the difference between Winston and Tom Brady.

After this absolute debacle, Postgame Mike Irvin asks Winston to grade his “performance” and Winston shakes his head in wonder of his greatness and says “I managed the team to a win. I put them in position to win, that’s what I’m all about”.

Brady would wince and say that he left a lot of plays out on the field and has to do better than that and that the D stepped up big time.

Outside of New Orleans, that entire division is random. Try predicting games involving Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Atlanta. They are complete crapshoot teams, especially against each other.

There are only a handful of QB's that don't spend time smelling their own farts while proclaiming how great they are.
