The victim is AB in this case.......

...putting aside the numerology of any specific number juju:
Does the sport get to a point where you need to offer triple-digit player numbers?
If a team retires one or two numbers a decade, but happens to have great running backs or offensive linemen or some specific position over multiple decades, eventually you run short on available numbers.

I disagree. What culture are you living in 1954? Where I am the knee jerk reaction is to "believe her". Our entire social media, social commentary, mass media and polite society now demand it. Those saying "but what about the presumption of innocence" , "burden of proof" and "due process" are shouted down has heretics.
