The board's fascination with Demaryius Thomas is ridiculous. The guy beat up on car wash employees and UPS delivery drivers a couple weeks ago and now he's Jerry Rice.

What about the posters who who say silly things like "The guy beat up on car wash employees and UPS delivery drivers a couple weeks ago and now he's Jerry Rice" about a guy who's a multi-time Pro Bowl player, and was coming back early from Achilles surgery? Those guys aren't being ridiculous?

I guess one thing that is most confusing to me is why this particular website, oaklandnewsnow.com, is the only news-type site (at least it looks like one) that has posted the Instagram Videos apart from that ILIKEYOURBEATS guy who originally posted it. Although they definitely don't prove a rape didn't happen, they do seem to indicate that the relationship between Ms. Taylor and A. Brown was not completely professional. It seems like all sorts of news outlets would be jumping on this type of salacious stuff.

Does anyone have an idea for why these videos haven't been referred to on other media outlets? Is it because they are unverified? Or, is there some type of consent law at work?

I admit that I'm not one of those that thinks there is a vast conspiracy among the news outlets to suppress information, as long as that information is likely to draw eyeballs and clicks (i.e., $$$).

I need to chime in here just to say something

I don't know if AB did this.
The timing is off, it seems more complicated than her lawyer is portraying, that's for sure.
False accusations happen. I'm a journalist, so I always feel like it's good to hold off until you get facts before coming to a judgment on something like this. Due process exists for a reason, and people in my profession have gotten very burned in the recent past for making assumptions without a critical mind and patience.

BUT

I know a woman who was raped a few years ago, but not just one but two men. She was 20, they were in their mid-20s. She was blackout drunk, she'd been drinking around a campfire with a bunch of people and had too many. The two of them visited her in her tent later that night and took turns with her.

The first - first thing she did when she woke up, was go to the police. She had a rape kit done, said she wanted to press charges. This is within hours of her realizing what had happened the night before.

And she was told, that because she'd been drinking with them earlier that she'd never win the case and it wasn't worth the time to go through the criminal avenue. They advised her to move on.

There are tons of reasons why women don't go to police right after an assault, not the least of which is because they are often completely f*cking useless.

Let's try to move on from the insinuation that there being no criminal complaint against AB made by this woman is a sign that she's lying or extorting him. She may well be, but the fact that she didn't go to the police is NOT evidence of that being the case.

Incarcerated Bob (I know, I know) says that those videos (some of them?) were filmed a few MONTHS ago. To be fair, he had posted the IG messages between AB and women X (calling out the accusers scheme) on the 7th, so he was ahead of the curve.

She does appear to be wearing an engagement ring in one of the videos. If that can be verified, that would seem to invalidate at least the claim in the lawsuit that she cut ties with him after retrieving her belongings the day after the alleged rape occurred. Recall that the engagement supposedly came several weeks later.

To his credit he was one of the first to see something was up thanks to PalmBeachPatriot

That's true, but it's also a part of my point. Despite realizing that the balls were exactly in line with the temperature change, he continued to subscribe to the idea something might have happened in order to pander to the NFL and the fans who wanted the Pats to be guilty.

It is not my job to represent any woman or judge any woman. I have a strong dislike for females in general ( Bad experiences). So this entire thing is weird for me. Because I know that this society is MOB rule. You are not allowed to have a descenting opinion in peace anymore. Land of the free indeed. So for the most part I keep my opinions to myself. And I don't tolerate bullies. This world is full of bullies. You try to bully me, my response will not be kind. I was not pleased with this signing to begin with. I got talked off the ledge but now, this guy just makes me sick. He better be worth the distraction.
It's fine to say it's not your job to represent women, but you're here as Lady Pats Fan and your first post on this started with "I'm a woman so I can say this." And your opinion was that you didn't believe her, women aren't saints, etc. You dislike females in general. So it was pretty reasonable to ask why you then wanted to get rid of Brown. Having a dissenting opinion here isn't the issue. And telling me to fk off for asking was rude.

It doesn't fit the preferred narrative.

Maybe it's because the fake news cabal is interconnected and has vowed not acknowledge anything other than their own mainstream media reporting/sources/source materials...

Assuming he gets cleared on this..I think this might stop AB from trying any antics while he is here. He's already starting out on thin ice and only a complete moron would do anything out of line now...and yes, i realize he just might be a complete moron.

Yes lets go down this path again. An aging, post injury, Pro Bowler who's production was declining in the two seasons prior to his injury plays relatively well against guys who were cut 2 days later. He looked solid but he wasn't exactly running away from anyone. If Bill thought he is half as good as some on this forum think he is then he wouldn't have traded him for a late round pick (to the Jets of all teams).

The Scorpion and The Frog

A scorpion asks a frog to carry it across a river. The frog hesitates, afraid of being stung by the scorpion, but the scorpion argues that if it did that, they would both drown. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. The scorpion climbs onto the frog's back and the frog begins to swim, but midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung, to which the scorpion replies "I couldn't help it. It's in my nature"

My knee-jerk reaction is to scream "Look it says right there he's replying to her." That actually makes sense based on hierarchies I've seen on other platforms; if I make the main comment and you reply, your comment would be "captured" somehow in association with my original post.

However, I am to Twitter as Charlie is to Surf, in that I don't.

If you're interpretation is correct, I am tempted to add, Twitter is stoopit. But then, we know that... it just happens to be staggeringly popular as well.
It’s not an interpretation
It is very clear, she is quoting him and giving her Man-hater response
