Antonio Brown

I mean Chung is still playing even though he has that cocaine case against him and RK hasn’t been disciplined by the NFL yet and he has been charged. Will he still be allowed to play while an investigation is going on?
He may be allowed to continue playing for awhile while the NFL conducts their investigation. Of course, that would make his situation and ability to gameplan rather stressful. And of course, we’d all be waiting for Goodell to bring down the hammer of justice at literally any possible moment.

No, pointless debates over non-contributors bore me. None of your entered-after-the-fact examples apply.

Good luck with your Fantasy League, kiddo. :p

Oooh - - 2017 ? Adam Butler (he's a DL - - one of the guys on that front line who run after the passer fella).

.

Plus, it’s a topic that’s gained lots of negative attention in the middle of a recent public movement. I know it sounds terrible to say and I’m obviously joking, but accused rapists just don’t get the benefit of the doubt like they used to, especially not in this kind of setting.
Especially if your name is Antonio Brown and you were already one of the leagues biggest names ...its not like this accusation is falling on a player who is a player far down the list on a bad teams depth chart ..... being famous sometimes is not all its cracked up to be and accusations like this become as widespread like a disease

Find it curious that this pops up AFTER he signs with the Pats.

Call me suspicious. Highly, highly suspicious.

Do you mean you suspect another team(s) may be behind it or that she waited for him to get his payday? I wonder why she didn't file after the big Raiders contract? She couldn't have known he would pull all the stunts he did.

BTW- I wouldn't be unhappy if the Pats always answered AB questions with the following information.

AB is in a CIVIL lawsuit in which he is accused of 3 incidences of sexual misconduct that occurred over a 18 month period while he was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers......."

After that they can say whatever, "We were not aware of any such CIVIL suit" or " The NFL is investigating and we will have no more to say on the matter until that investigation ends" or " This is a civil case between Jane Doe and AB, we will react appropriately when that case resolves itself."

OR anything else they want to say. I just want it out there that he wasn't a member of the Pats when any of the alleged events took place... over and over again.

I disagree, the MeToo movement has become a joke and as its come to pass, was never about empowering women to make a stand but for a few to make a profit and return to momentary relevance. Frankly, it disgusts me because it had the potential to be a powerful force for good.

If you could point me to those who found profit and "return to momentary relevance," I'd be obliged. Interested to know who made money off these accusations. As it stands I've a feeling that I'll be seeing you as your avatar when you fail to rebut with any substance.

I was reading something about it recently saying how Nicholas Romanoff had many opportunities to copy the British system where the monarchy stayed in place and the people given a parliament. Just imagine how different the world would be today.

Obviously, it's genetic and he didn't pay enough attention to the "non-entity" details.

He Didn't Do His Job.

:D

Considering the amount of time it takes to prepare a lawsuit, I doubt the timing has much to do with the Patriots although I'm sure her legal team rushed to get it done during a time when Brown's public persona was maximally tarnished.

Big ben faced a similar allegation and got 6 games but it was reduced to 4 games.

I’d rather they just give him a 6 game suspension right now and have him for half the season and postseason. You just get the feeling that the hammer of justice lands on the Friday before the AFCCG with Goodell calling an emergency news conference from a pseudo-Oval Office to let the nation know he’s fair but just, and Brown is not above the hallowed laws of the National Football League’s conscientious commissioner.

Yeah, all those guys were game day inactives and practice squad jockeys. None of them made the gameday roster and played right away. You definitely know what you're talking about.

In the first week of September in each of those years they were marginal on the roster. “Non-entities” to Fantasy League guys. Good luck with your soccer team!

It’s so nonsensical. If Roethlisberger and Brown are really found guilty of rape, they should be suspended for a minimum of a year if not a lifetime ban. The NFL is so clueless and tone deaf. They hand out the same sentence for raping a woman as for taking too much growth hormone. They also have virtually no measurable standard for burden of proof and basically multiply the strength of the crime by the strength of the evidence. It’s as stupid as it gets, really. They should have a “beyond reasonable doubt” standard and greatly increase the suspension lengths.

Nope, in the first week of September in all those years they were playing. Is Obi? Thomas?

Zoe Quinn.

You lose.

Curious to see if he’s at practice this morning.

The guy has talked about money and respect. He got his guaranteed money and knows the Pats tried to trade a first round pick for him so he's got his respect.

I think this is going to work out just fine.

I sincerely hope you are correct. It's nice having such a strong set of WRs.

With the greatest respect, it's not a win or lose internet forum battle, people's lives (on both sides), are at stake.

I'm not exactly sure if you're serious or not, but my response was tongue-in-cheek, in that the other poster was treating this as if this was a competition to win, as if your inability to provide an example of women using MeToo as a platform for political/financial gain would mean they win the argument.

Obviously, this person didn't know that there are women out there using MeToo for personal gain, which is weird considering they're using the internet to post here...which is the same tool that could be used to figure this stuff out. Zoe is the most prominent example, as she caused the biggest scandal in gaming, so if they didn't know about her, then they don't know anything about this topic and are simply virtue signaling.

Incredible. This is basically the worst possible answer.

Metoo took off late 2017, GamerGate started in 2014. So you failed to respond to the topic at hand. Furthermore, gotdamn I cannot think of anything more Loser than caring about that stupid scandal. You got big thoughts on Ethics In Gaming Journalism, dude? Deeply embarrassing. Go cry it out with Ian Miles Cheong and the other incel dorks.
