You should probably think twice before referring to someone as a "misogynistic ass" without knowing what I've done for women both in their careers and in times of need simply because I don't buy into MeToo. And FWIW, that movement disgusts me because it should have been a force for good, something that shook the foundations of the world but nope, it's become little more than a hashtag sideshow and the world simply keeps on doing what it's always done.

  • Our education system has been deliberately subverted.
  • Our parent teaching has become almost non-existent in a lot of homes.
  • Our media has taken to deliberately lying to push an agenda (and I'm not talking specifics or claiming only one side/group is guilty of this)
  • Our citizens no longer bother educating themselves beyond the parroting of their teachers and the minimal assignments they are given.
Given the above, it's not really surprising that we, as a society, are losing our grip on what's true/false, right/wrong.

Unfettered capitalism, democracy trotting towards an oligarchic empire, and wealth consolidation all really like these things :)

(Let's see how this takes off)

There is a world of difference between taking an accusation seriously, and believing an accuser just because of his/her position of being the accuser, regardless of the charge.
That is what I am getting at...take the accusation seriously not the accuser. Its the only way to play it.

Ohhhhh, now I get the backstory behind your posts. It all makes sense now.

That's not what you were getting at. In fact, it's pretty much the exact opposite of what you were arguing for.

Sexual assault accusers? I disagree. I'd say it is at least 70% pure.
Thanks for agreeing with Deus’s point, then. 30% = “often” by any reasonable definition of the word.

The Patriots are forever an evolving news story. It really is incredible.

Falsely calling a public figure a rapist is gonna meet the “actual malice” standard, which says that if a public figure sues for defamation he has to prove by a preponderance of the evidence (“50% plus a feather”) that the utterer spoke “with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not.”

A false claim of rape (if it really is false) will easily meet that bar. This isn’t like some news media person hearing something from a source that in their experience is generally trustworthy but wasn’t this time, publishing it, and getting sued.

Potentially, but malice also requires intent I would think, so they would have to prove she intended to harm him and did not believe any of the advances were unwanted to a degree at any encounter they had. That would seem hard to do. Maybe I'm incorrect on the former part tho

Ah, it was what I was getting at....oh well...never been quoted as much as tonight.

Should AB suit up against Miami? I think from a PR perspective AB should be benched for a few weeks at least. Idk who's lying but either way, this ain't going to end well.

After reading his emails I'd say "No more high fives Antonio. Only fist bumps from now on."
Guilty or not, dude is seriously bent out of shape.

OK, so you're nothing more a clown, who's decided to triple down on being needlessly stupid. Time for the ignore. I've not got the time for your kind tonight.

Good luck ignoring everyone that points out your flaws, how very Trumpian of you

You are watching a different world than I am. I don’t believe we can relate on any level. Farewell.

ESPN updated their story to say:

“A spokesman for the Patriots told the New York Times, who was first to report the lawsuit, that the team had not heard about the lawsuit or any related allegations.”

So the plot thickens.
