would you be saying the same thing if Tom Brady was accused?
That's a very good point. To be honest, Tom Brady is the one player we really can't afford to lose. Part of my rationale for AB is that he isn't worth the headache. It's not fair. But it's reality. If you or I was accused of something, most likely we are expendable enough to cut bait with. AB is in that situation right now.

That’s pretty much the story going forward.

Sick part is, this women is using “the bravery” of the past women who stepped forward as her defense as to why this is just now coming out.

Give me a break.

I think the fact that she was allegedly raped 3 times and the most she can muster is a cash grab tells you all you need to know.

And it hurts to say that because you want to believe that a woman wouldnt do that but it happens.

Minimally, Brown won't play on Sunday. It needs to unfold a little but that one game is out.
which would most likely cost him $4.5m in incentives...If it was a false claim, she cost him some serious $$

Keep trying. While it almost never lives up to it, our legal system is based upon moral precepts. This is because accusers often have impure motives and/or their memories are often subconsciously modified to conform to a falsely virtuous self-image. Accusers often THINK they are telling the truth—and truly believe it—-but that is not the same as telling the truth, which can only be determined by objective evidence. Morality, as well as the law, requires that we examine all the evidence before making the best judgment we can.

Accusers OFTEN have impure motives?

Note: I actually think the timing of this stinks. But this is how these things go....its all he said and she said.....

Kraft at the Orchid, Easterbunny, Caserio, Chung and now this. Just since January. There's a trade-off for unprecedented success and it's exhausting.

Timing is suspicious but perfect actually for her. Court of pubic opinion of AB is at an all time low. Is there a better time to do this?

Do you guys think he'll get any reprimand from the team?

So if I sued you tomorrow for cumming on my back, and you were fired on Friday from your company because I sued you, you somehow think you would lose a lawsuit against your company, if the suit was later found to be frivolous? Hmm

I'm not sure you understand how a collective bargaining agreement works. Mine is different from the NFL's (firing for perceived poor performance is not at the sole judgment of management in my office, and misconduct is much narrower), and both of those are different from employers who don't have a CBA (who in most states can be fired for just about anything so long as it isn't a result of ADA or CRA discrimination). Talking about my office versus Antonio Brown's versus yours is not useful in any way man. What matters for Antonio Brown is what Antonio Brown's contract says, and what his CBA says.

Instead of multi-quoting everyone who quoted me. I'll clarify here:

I was not speaking in the LEGAL sense, but the moral sense. I absolutely agree with our fundamental laws of due process. I was just saying that it is best to err on the side of the victim in order to protect victims and make actual victims more willing to come out. Same deal with victims of domestic violence.
No. You don’t tarnish someone’s name and reputation without evidence on the basis of “well the accuser is usually telling the truth”.

I disagree, the MeToo movement has become a joke and as its come to pass, was never about empowering women to make a stand but for a few to make a profit and return to momentary relevance. Frankly, it disgusts me because it had the potential to be a powerful force for good.
and Harvey Weinstein thanks you for your support.

I’d have preferred before we signed him so we wouldn’t have to deal with this at all.
Who says the team wasnt aware of this and signed him anyway?

That makes sense as we all know SJW's don't give a damn about silly little things like due process...
Does the women get the same benefit of a doubt that she isn’t a liar or is she guilty from the start?

Wow.

Comments:

1.) Guilty until proven innocent is how we approach sexual assault cases. And it should be that way...most victims are telling the truth. So, it is better to err on the side of the victim.

2.) That being said, I gotta question the TIMING BIG TIME.

3.) We will just have to wait for all the facts to come out...but make no mistake...if AB is a rapist...then F him.

4.) Man, AB is already a distraction....even if not his fault anyhow.... right about now I think Kraft is worried about the 10M check he wrote....
I hear Cuba is looking for a new attorney general. You should apply.
I think Brown gets cut tomorrow. Belichik & Kraft won’t want to deal with this, and Brown will never play another game in the NFL. If I’m wrong, and the Pats keep him, Goodell will suspend him at least 6 games.

Look at what happened with Ezekiel Elliot, even though the police didn’t indict him, due to lack of evidence, Goodell still went after him. This lawsuit gives Goodell ammunition. And all the conspiracy theorists who’ve been complaining that Brown to the Patriots was the plan all along, 2 can play at that game, and I can say Goodell will use this as ammunition to suspend Brown.

Bottom line, even if innocent, it will still effect Brown in a negative way. Either cut by the Pats (most likely), or suspended by that piece of **** Goodell. I have no doubt in my mind. Brown may never even step foot on Gillette stadium practice field or the game field.

Don't bet your house payment on it. Maybe if you took the time to actually read the specifics, and how incredibly shaky and suspect the accuser's case is, you might be able to come to a more likely conclusion, a little closer to at least being in the ballpark of reality.

“It’s all about the he said she said ********” to quote a once great philosopher Frederick Durst. Am I right, fellas?

Does the women get the same benefit of a doubt that she isn’t a liar or is she guilty from the start?
Huh? The point is that no one is guilty until proven innocent.
Saying Brown isn’t guilty because he was accused is not saying the accuser is lying, it’s saying he had a right to defend himself before you pass judgment.
