1.) Guilty until proven innocent is how we approach sexual assault cases. And it should be that way...most victims are telling the truth. So, it is better to err on the side of the victim.
2.) That being said, I gotta question the TIMING BIG TIME.
3.) We will just have to wait for all the facts to come out...but make no mistake...if AB is a rapist...then F him.
4.) Man, AB is already a distraction....even if not his fault anyhow.... right about now I think Kraft is worried about the 10M check he wrote....
If the police were hauling him off to jail, I think many here would have a different attitude. Instead she is asking for money. That puts a different spin on it to many people. Especially when it happened years ago, on numerous occasions, and it seems, at least from the outside looking in, like during a time they were in some kind of relationship.I disagree.
I’m saying I’m surprised at how fast such a strong number of posters are willing to dismiss the claims. She may in fact be lying. But the suggestion by some posters saying it’s so frequent for women to lie about assaults shows why so many of them don’t want to go forward.
Well, one answer to that would be I’m not sure of the timing of her extorting him.I’ve seen several folks state something along the lines of, “why did she go back to Brown 3 times after she was first raped”, implying the allegations or false, or that they don’t matter because she’s stupid.
Let’s assume the allegations are false. I’ve seen exactly 1 person say the logical equivalent, which is, “why did Brown continue to sexually engage with this woman he knew was extorting him”?
A little consistency please, folks.

I don't want to criticize you too much. But there's many many credible rape and assault cases that came up a long time after the actual incident and people tried to discredit it by saying "why did she wait so long".I am a woman so I can say this. I don't believe her. What took her so long to come forward?
And she wants money. If a man does these things to me, he needs to go to jail. And I am not going back 3 times.
Whoever disliked my opinion, I don't like you either and I will not be bullied into having the same opinion as everyone else. I just won't. Lots of internet bullies in the world. I have been through a lot and seen a lot in this life. I have learned not to believe everything people say.
Statement from AB's lawyer:
Last time I checked this was the United States, where we err on the side of the accused.
You above attitude would fit in quite well in most totalitarian regimes though.
Wrong. If the Patriots released him and then he was found innocent he would be able to sue the Patriots to get back his money.Innocent until proven guilty means we don’t throw you in jail it doesn’t mean you get to keep making millions of dollars playing a game. The NFL and the Patriots as private companies have every right to cut bait with an employee that they feel reflects poorly on them for just about any reason.
I disagree.
