Wait so he assaulted her and she went back not twice but 3 times? Sounds fishy to me... I think someone wants money, why not pick the guy the media has been calling mentally unstable recently makes her story more believable however I'm not buying it

While I do not know for certain they haven't, I can't imagine they have been (certainly not at the time) or else we would have heard about it.

If worst case scenario this is true and Brown is released, won't it be fun in the future when the headlines read "Former New England Patriot Convicted of Rape"

I mean, we should be skeptical of Brown's statement too, but even supposing this is all true... how big of a dumbass do you have to be to put the lady who already tried to grift of you on your payroll and then sleep with her continually over several years?! I heard a great quote and I wish I can remember who said it because I want to give proper attribution... basically it was something like: "The fact of the matter is that sometimes people lie and sometimes those people are women."

Case closed, DOA. Knowing AB, he keeps records and can show this woman to be a phony easily.

unfortunately, in today's environment the concept of "innocent until proved guilty" has often been reversed so anything is likely to happen. Whatever happens, it will probably take several months to sort out (unless people in high positions want AB off the Pats roster now).

Shame on people giving him the benefit of the doubt? So we take her word at face value because she has nothing to gain by lying? If I were to come out and say VectorPrime assaulted me should everyone automatically believe me and not you?

I think we’re fine with or without Brown.

The problem is the optics. Do we stick by him until we know what’s up in this situation? Or wipe our hands clean of him now in case this gets ugly?

That’s not true. There have been quite a few posters on this board who have stuck up for players that weren’t playing on this team and have gotten into similar situations. This story has holes all over it and the timing could not have possibly been better.
