I posted during the Game Day Thread that I wanted the shutout.
A Pittsburgh coach became aware of my post so he told Mike Tomlin.

Blue Cat wants a shutout! We have to kick!

At that moment there was panic on the Pittsburgh sideline...

At the time, I was of two minds:

1. If I were them, I’d want points on the board, period. Coming away with zero would be soul crushing.
2. You really need to have 7. Can’t Ben just plunge forward and get the score?

But the score was 20-0. That’s three scores. You kick a FG... you’re still down three scores.

You gotta go for it.

Yeah! They did it to spite me and my team!

Tomlin’s vaginal infection is out of control. Anyone have a good recommendation for an herbal remedy?

Positivity

Ben the Hutt can no longer slog for a half-yard on a QB sneak.

Doesn't Gronk rep for an herbal product?

Maybe the Steelers should put up a banner

"Didn't get shut out week1 2019"

“Now here’s a cat that values quickness, Al”

Maybe Tomlin and "Big Ben" can discuss this during their next Friday night dinner date, or whatever they do after.

Why were the Steeler O starters still throwing passes and pretending to play five scores down with four minutes to go? I'd want to see the backup QB handing off to the third string RB at that point to avoid injury for the rest of the season.

The reason? Coaches with no grasp on the game and how it was going. Pop Warner coaches could have done better

They do that every year they play the Pats when games are out of reach. They like to pad their stats.

To me the worse grasp of the game was Detroit's playing out the last minute of the overtime tie with AZ. Down inside their own 10, instead of running the clock out and happy to gain a tie, Stafford lobs 3 passes all out around his own 25, the third one went right smack into the hands and chest of an AZ cb which wd have given the game outright to AZ. Of course, he miraculously dropped it, then it finally dawned on Detroit to run the clock out on 4th down. This was the stupidest NFL decision-making I've seen in a very long time.
