So just a plain old ***** fest
Pretty much. They were also pissed they weren't playing the Squealers this year

They did admit we are freaking loaded....which we are.

I think one thing that helped a bit last night was that the Steelers appear to be transitioning to more man coverage and that's still a work in progress.

Looking at the snap counts, trying to figure out who's not listed. No LaCosse, and even with Van Noy out, no Roberts?

Also note: the three Defensive Tackles (Guy, Roberts and Shelton) had only 54 snaps BETWEEN THEM.

Those who said before the season started that cutting Pennel would leave the Pats short of big bodies for the middle of the defensive line, should maybe re-visit their assumptions ...

Ill give them some credit admiting that the pats are loaded, they're not completely delusional

There are actually some decent posters over there. Just gotta deal with the flying arrows and tomahawks along with it.

Boston media

Jesus what a garbage fire.

Who gives a **** about one football game relative to actually meaningful life events. The implication from whoever that there is something wrong with choosing to be with your loved ones for an important occasion over one NFL game is so absolutely absurd.

The usual garbage.

*****ing about all the calls go our way.

*****ing about cheating.

*****ing about pick plays.

+ BrADy cAN’t ThROw DEep
+ cheering for injuries or a meteor
+ the over the top homerism by some posters is funniest of all

The thing about Dorsett is that, he was this open on numerous ocassions last year and Brady was not finding him. I think Tomlin and Butler probably fell for that and their guys did not give too much attention to Dorsett because they watched film and Brady hardly looked his way. I wondered how Dorsett felt last year, he kept quiet, worked hard and was somehow rewarded during the playoffs.

This is pretty much also what happened a year earlier. You can see him on the A22 running decoy routes without dogging it, blocking the hell out of every rep and catching everything coming his way whenever he got a chance.

He is a good WR3/WR4. And can be relied on in case of emergency to take WR2 snaps now and then.

I'm probably going to jinx him by saying this, but he also seems to catch everything thrown at him. Last night's big plays were pretty easy grabs, though :)

That is because you are maybe only thinking of the actual process of catching. What goes unspoken is that he read Terell Edmunds jumping Gordon's route exactly the same way that Brady did and split the two defenders giving Brady that seam window.

Yes, thanks to Brady's perfect throw the catch was a formality but he wasn't just running a straight line but had to read coverages and be on the same page as the QB.

There was much more going on.

Let's talk Mike Tomlin for a moment. Aside from the rather shocking FG from the 1 yard line, down 20 points, there was the halftime comment as relayed by the sideline reporter. Asked about adjustments for the second half, Tomlin rejected the whole idea, saying "it's not the scheme, it's the quality of execution."

My jaw dropped. Down 20 at the half, and no adjustments planned? No accountability? Just declaring yourself perfect and blaming your players? o_Oo_Oo_O

what's Tomlin's contract situation? maybe he's trying to shoot his way out of Pittsburgh?

Great to see Josh Gordon play well out there tonight and to hear him be forthcoming in his press conference. I wish nothing but the best for him on and off the field.

Chung played a good game. Was around the ball and made sure-handed tackles.

Wise had a strong push against the OL of the Steelers.

Dorsett just catches everything. Had a great game.

Wynn played well. Has great feet and plays really strong out there.

Come to work in a hot air balloon.

Then call Ben and the Rooneys "Crackers" and complain that his feet hurt.

"Brady can't throw deep anymore"....

4-6, 149 yds, 2 td, 0 int, 149.3 passer rating when targeting a receiver 15+ yards down the field

(Tucker Boynton tweeted that information, though I've reworded it)

OT Trigger Warning

Every word is true.

I know someone personally who is a friend of Rush Limbaugh. They used to work together and still chat from time to time. Rush is a huge Steeler fan and this guy that I know gave Rush a football signed by a Steeler team that won a Super Bowl back in the Bradshaw era.

Just 10 minutes ago, Rush announced that the Patriots will win Super Bowl 54. The only thing remaining is to play out the rest of the games. He is thoroughly disgusted with the Steelers and stated that hes never seen such a docile team. The Steelers look lost out there.

Which Steelers forum is this on lmao

The Steelers hit us with heavy man coverage concepts in 2017 and 2018. It’s not new at all. That’s how they were able to keep those contests closer than the traditional contests between the Pats and the Steelers. Unfortunately for them, with a full compliment of weapons and health, they’re still no match for Brady.

.

Yeah, fix those mistakes will ya, Tom!

Apologies if this has been discussed already, but Burkehead played well against the Steelers making some good runs and finding holes where Sony did not. I was one who favoured trading Burkehead pre season ! Mind you still early.
