OL...please stay healthy....I beg of thee..

Surprised it's not much of a story, but Jerod Mayo was essentially the DC last night.

Have to say, mayo/flores > Patricia. Personnel isnt that much different than 2 years ago when they got shredded

I read somewhere that the lions were up 24-6 before the game ended in a tie. Those garbage yards we routinely gave up in the fourth quarter years ago seem to be Patricia thing. Overly complicated and prevent defenses that do not work.

I didn’t think we’d beat them that bad lol.

Maybe the Steelers are junk this year

Well the secondary was not as good with Butler. Butler probably led to at least one TD per game.

So Michaels wants to throw shade about taking the Timeout.

How about this - if the Steelers don't want us to take timeouts lineup to kill the clock. If they're trying to score Bill is going to coach his defense to stop them until the game is over.

So **** off.

As long as one of the tie-breakers is point differential then I say the Pats should try to score as much as possible every game, even if Brady sits at the end. As we all know the Pats lost the AFCE twice with the best record and missed the playoffs because of tie-breakers.

Sometimes, week 1 is a liar. Too early to tell what the 2019 Steelers will be.

That Steelers defense is the real deal. Patriots were just better.

I can't tell if I'd rather the Steelers turn out to be good and we just smoked a good team or if it would be better for this to be the first indication that they just suck.

Either way, next week we're dropping 50.
Are you saying Ravens have a better offense than we do? :p

I went back and forth but ended up on the keep him train. As for why I gave him a B i thought I made that clear. While he had a good game he didn't face the competition Gordon/Edelman did who had to make hard contest catches. They were not difficult plays for the most part.

Dorsett finished 4/4 for 95 yards and 2 TD with a long of 58. Let's look those catches a bit.

1st quarter 5:58 3rd and 5 @NE 40 - 8 yard catch - A nicely designed play. WIDE OPEN.

2nd quarter 3:49 1st and 10 @ Pitt 25 - 25 yard TD catch - I'm 99% sure his man gave up the top and inside a tad; expecting safety help over the top. The Edmunds took a REALLY bad angle and/or was WAY late. I can't tell who the CB was. It was a good play, not great.

2nd quarter 0:54 1 and 10 @ Pitt 27 - 4 yard catch - Honestly I don't remember this play all that well and couldn't find it. If anyone else can I'd love to see it. I THINK it was fairly routine going from memory but could be wrong.

3rd quarter 8:05 3rd and 10 @ NE 42 - 58 yard TD catch. - This was a blown play and he was WIDE OPEN.

It was a good night but let's not pretend he did anything special either.

If you dismiss every catch, yes, he did nothing. If you accept that he was part of why he was getting WIDE OPEN, he had a damn fine game. His speed killed the Steelers last night, and that's how he was able to smoke past the defenders.

You realize you won't get one right? We'll be lucky to hear anything before the midweek injury report, and then it'll just say 'Cannon - Shoulder, limited'

I just said those same words to my wife's question 5 minutes ago.

Chung played great last night.

Behold this image  I am in awe. The composition is perfect.

Outstanding! A man in full!

Chung played great last night.

He was out of his mind last night- reacting to plays before they happened. Think he had a PBU where he actually got to the spot before the WR did.

Mind-boggling. The game was officially over at that point, with Tomlin rolling over and showing his belly.

That reminded me of the time that Cowher did the same type of thing in the AFCCG at Pitt in 2004. I can still hear their fans booing that move.
