I can see it now. Ted Wells is going to find that a Patriots food vendor sent a tweet about serving “cracker”s back in August and a Pats ball boy stating that the color of a football is “brown” back in March. Guilty. The Pats lose another first rounder. And Brady will be suspended because he too complained about the new helmets and was therefore obviously apart of the conspiracy.

The raiders were morons. They fined him and took away his $30million and were going to force him to play one game at a time. I am sure the players association along with Browns agent said see you in court. If they let him play he would have gone after the guaranteed money and there was a chance they lose, have a malcontent who they now have to pay $30 million to. So they were forced to cut him. They now only have the $300k in fines to argue about and he is out of their hair.

Has nothing to do with us. What Brown may or may not have done was on his own. There is no rule prohibiting a player from orchestrating his release.
He is friends w LaGarette.............

The raiders won’t file a tampering charge because what do they have to stand on? He signed in 4 hours of being cut? Or he acted crazy because he didn’t want to be here so we cut him? This is a don’t worry thing, especially after his agent said he was contacted by multiple teams, after he was cut.

not only plausible but likely in my opinion. I would hope other teams would have also thought through the math.

Plus Bill talked with the Steelers back when this was going down. Word is Bill was going to give Steelers a first. That is another overlooked thing. Instead of a first, we get him for no draft picks.

AB and N’Keal Harry. Not bad if you as me.

But BB is only in it for this season and hates Brady and wants to punish him. (According to the mediots)

Everyone on this board should know about Morts' lack of credibility when it comes to the Patriots. He's no better than that fat piece of $**** Tomasse. Both of them are journalistic jokes!

Everything which transpired was orchestrated by Antonio, BB, and James Harrison. What the world doesn't know is the next shoe to drop, and Leveon Bell ending up with the Patriots by Halloween.

They desperately want to blame the Pats for this.

My fellow Patriots. Are you ready for another drama fueled by jealousy?

You should...

Bring it. I love the image of BB of his cellphone telling AB to call Mayock a "cracker". :D:D

Edit-- Just saw it was posted above, LMAO

Looking back at this, the Steelers should have allowed Brown to become a free agent by releasing him. In return, Brown should have been (would he have been?) willing to give back a big portion of his signing bonus (rather than the Steelers eating this big cap hit.). Both sides could have mutually parted ways. The Steelers got really arrogant and greedy by saying we won’t trade him to certain teams, etc. and were intent on sending him to a dysfunctional bottom feeder. Brown has already nixed the Buffalo trade and Oakland is an even worse franchise.

I’m glad this blew up in the Steelers face. Worst nightmare for them.

It's obvious that Brown was doing everything he could do to get cut. He's not exactly the first player to do such a thing, nor will he be the last.

In one of Brown's infamous recorded phone calls from this past March, we heard how excited he was at the prospect of playing in NE. It is clear he was interested in coming here. Also, given that the Pats tried to trade for him, it is clear NE was interested in him.

The only question is if the Patriots promised him a landing spot before he was cut. My theory is that back in March, the Patriots and Rosenhaus had conversations about what NE would be willing to offer, so Rosenhaus had a good idea of where they stood.

What exactly has Brown done that's so bad? Call Mayock a cracker?

I'm not a big fan of the guy's attitude but his baggage is fairly light compared to many other players.

I'm willing to give him a chance.
His reported behavior with the Steelers, for one thing. His temper tantrum over the league insistence that he use a helmet certified safe, for another. And that’s off the top of my head with less than a second thought about it.

BB and Brady are always in it for the "next one"
