Antonio Brown

The NFL does not want what happens in the NBA to happen in this league, e.g. Anthony David demanding a trade from the Pelicans and forcing his way out of town. What makes the NFL great is that so many teams have a legitimate team to compete for the SB every year. If this bs is allowed to go on with star players gaming their way out of a non preferred team, the NFL will become like the NBA. A few superteams and no one else with any chance at all for SB

The Raiders could have suspended Brown, cancelled his guarantees, and kept him on the roster. And pretty much everyone would have been fine with that decision. They didn't have to release him.

Figure out how that completely destroys your argument, and then go get some sleep.

Funny comment from Deadspin:

This team had a player murder three people and didn't miss a beat. I don't think Brown is going to be the 4th horseman you're hoping for.

The above is more evidence that Saturday night drunk posting is not the way to go...
Sticks and Stones....... Very risky move by BB and you know it, At least a 50% chance team chemistry is destroyed.

When was the last time we won a super bowl with an elite offense? Deion Branch days? Should've utilized the cap on a elite TE/DT. The WR core is fine, unless Belichick knows Gordon won't be able to stay clean the whole season and Brown is just insurance.

Your drunk trolling is getting more lame by the post. Go sleep it off. Try again tomorrow. I suggest the game day thread.

This forum is brutal on fans from other teams. The difference is free speech, not poster hostility.
I can admit, maybe we could be seen as arrogant/spoiled? I don't see myself as that, but could see how other fanbases could perceive it that way. I do agree with you though. However at least we aren't volatile. However, that could change after we stop winning? Just a baseless assumption from me.

Did an elite TE and DT also get released today and I missed it?

I am not naïve enough to ignore the possibility that there were some wink-wink conversations with the agent about Brown. I just don't really care.
I don't think Patriots tampered. However I do believe AB wanted out of Oakland and might have played up being crazy.

if the NFL demands BB turn over his phone so they can check for texts with Rosenhaus, what will the penalties be when he hands them a flip phone?

The chance that brown crashes and burns could be 50/50. The chance that ruins team chemistry is 0.

AB listens to one person- AB.
When Brady is throwing 10 times a game to Edelman, I am sure AB84 will be a good team player and sit quietly on the sideline.
If I were Dorsett, I would be so pissed at this move. Supposedly he was promised a bigger role this year in the passing game....good luck with that.

I suspect Dorsett will now be traded

One player isn't going to destroy team chemistry. He acts up he is gone. The team will adapt and move on, they would still be a strong SB contender as long as Brady is under center.

Consider this. Antonio Brown or Adam Humphries. I know my pick.

Also, his video of being seeing he was released..his emphatic Lets Go! over and over was very Brady like. Just sayin.

I would like to see the source claiming that Belichick promised a bigger role to a player.

And I certainly would understand if Dorsett is a bit bummed about what this means for his role, even if he still just wants to win. But if he's pissed that we signed one of the top WRs in the league, as if we owe him by not doing that, I don't know what to tell him.
