I’m pumped. He’s not as much drama as the media reports.

The team handled him poorly.

He played years in PIT with little drama(until the last year), so it can be done. And Tomlin and the Steelers are not even close to Belichick or the Patriot locker room.

I agree. I mean how much drama can he be while catching for 1300-1600 yards and 120 ish catches every frickin year.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....*trying to catch breath*...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Tuck Rule to AB: the sun will rise, the sun will set, and Bill Belichick will have Jon Gruden right where and when he needs him.

AB is the greatest. I celebrate the man's entire catalogue :)

Surprise twist: AB will start at LT for NE.

That's the gamble. If he is destructive in the locker-room, gets into arguments with staff/players, he is released with a NICE $9million pocket change. He WINs, Patriots LOSE.

If he behaves for just this season, reaches 1000yds, wins the SB, both sides WIN.

I suspect he leaves with whatever was already paid to him. New England wouldn't sign him without some behavioral clause(s) in his contract to financially protect themselves.

More than the potential offense we might have I'm loving the fact that every fanbase is losing their minds. Specially the Steeler and Chiefs fans **** them

BTW, has anyone thought of the fun reads in both Oakland and Pitt, if AB shows up at his first presser and says nothing but Patriotisms?

  • "Just taking it one day at a time."
  • "I already addressed that."
  • "A lot of great players in the opposing locker room."
  • "Anything I can do to help the team."

He has been my favorite receiver for about 3 years now. I am so pumped.

His quickness, yac potential, his hands. He is a match-up nightmare. People cannot just line up normally against him -- they will get burned.

Brady has got to be psyched to have this three-headed monster (Gordon and AB and the Squirrel).

"We're on to Miami"

Fans and media across the country, upon hearing that Brown was getting cut:

"Don't be surprised if he ends up with the Patriots. Going after a player like this is what the Patriots do. We've seen this move a bunch of times."

Fans and media across the country, upon hearing that Brown was signing with the Patriots:

"This is ridiculous. Brown to the Patriots? It's got to be rigged, because there's no other way this would ever happen!"

And then over the next month we'll get a bunch of "this signing proves the Patriots Way is dead" or "this proves they don't care as much about character anymore and just care about talent" as if this is some kind of new thing, when I think like 20 different people have written that article over the years starting with the Corey Dillon trade, and continuing right on through Moss and a whole procession of guys since up to and including the Gordon trade less than a year ago.

Looks like Curran already wrote one, no surprise there.
