Should of known all along

What about the cap?

There must be some restructure involved with another player, or a voidable year on ABs contract to spread out bonus

This is not a test... this is a real emergency... stay tuned for more information.

Could a mod please edit the title of this thread? The OP obviously meant to say "Raiders cut distinguished gentleman Brown"

. I guess if it comes out of AB's mouth its a fact that BB wanted him? I remember his agent listing teams that were interested before the trade but take that with a grain as its a ploy to drive up the interest and price.
That wasn’t a story Brown told. The conversations were recorded and that’s what he played on his podcast. The podcast was also a month after the trade to Oakland was made.

I mean that is a bit unfair. He has pretty impressive footwork, really good hands and -- unless something changed with his physical skills this offseason -- can create separation consistently.

It is not like he just stumbled into success.
You're not really saying anything here at all.

He has tremendous footwork. Maybe the best in the game. Great hands. Leverage master. And on...

He's also been one of the more heavily targeted WRs in the game over the last 5 years. I'd bet top 5 each year or very close.

As far as broken plays & being on the same page as his QB him & Ben have practiced, gone oven where he's supposed to be on certain routes if a play breaks down. It was a huge part of their success there. That's plain as day to anyone that's watched him.

That's not to say he can't still have success. He absolutely will.

Hes probably the best rr in the game. I always laughed when people said Cooks was a good rr. Brown is a master technician. That knows how to use his speed, quicks, eyes, body to manipulate defenders. Cooks just ran fast.

If his head is on straight Brown will absolutely work out here.

I wasn't the one calling him a product of of broken plays and volume.
I never said he was a product of anything. He's a HOF WR who's easily been a top 40-50 overall player the last few years.

He's also been targeted very heavily which he probably will be here to an extent (certainly less than in years past)
2014 2nd 11.3
2015 2nd 12.1
2016 5th 9.6
2017 2nd 11.6
2018 2nd 11.3

As far as the broken plays anyone whos ever watched them understands how much chemistry those two had if you watched. I remember you saying not too long ago you only watch the Pats so I understand why you might not know.

So apparently I need to eat every single word I have said in this thread. Doesn’t mean I am happy about any of it!

AB, Gordon, Thomas, and Edelman? Christ. If Belichick can keep AB in line, just call it a year. How the **** do you stop that? Good luck pressuring Brady when he can just dump it off to Edelman or White, one (or both) of which should just be taking a casual stroll across the line of scrimmage.

.

There was a recording of BB saying he wanted AB back then? OK. Fair enough. For me, it's hard to like this guy

Health is always a thing, of course. But I'm just saying...sitting here, before the season starts tomorrow? This roster literally makes me giggle a little bit.

What’s the over/under for 50 burgers this team puts up? I’d go for at least 3.

I almost kinda think a lot of this is also to have a Brown and Gordon set up that moves safeties back and allows for bigger gains in the run game. Maybe?

It’ll definitely take that safety out of the box. Defenses will probably start by subbing out a LB for a DB. Patriots will probably move into some 20 and 21 personnel and just ram the football down their throats.

Absolutely.

So...are there any starting-caliber TEs or Centers who would like to force their way off their current teams, please?
