N’Keal Harry being put on IR

Yeah. And it’s not like 4 of the other 6 receivers on the team need **** ton of work with Brady anyway

Why are we spazzing out. Give the kid time to heal and learn. He will be a fresh body come week 8. Might be a blessing in disguise.

We have Edleman, Gordon, DT and Dorsett to start the season. I’m not panicked or down on this kid

The Pats are in trouble here.

Edelman is only a few weeks removed from a busted thumb. If this flairs up again?
Dorsett is inconsistent.
The hope is on Gordons last shot at this.
Thomas just signed.

Say anything critical of the Pats and the triggering starts.

Like, the Pats suck at drafting WRs. Branch and Givens in 19 years is piss poor.

Why do you think it will stunt his development at all? It might delay his development, but a 6 week delay in a rookie year does not seem determinant to me - it might help. Edelman was injured - his development was not stunted.
JE was not injured his rookie year- 2009. He had all of TC and all of the regular season to learn and do. Very different set of circumstances.

I know he'll still be in classrooms, position meetings, etc but the actual engagement in understanding the nuances of the offense and Tom's preferences by "doing" is something he will not be able to do until November. Additionally if 4WR (JE, Josh, DT and whomever else) are doing well, that would limit his on the field practice and game time which would- in theory ****** his growth for this year.

Would you be shocked if Gunner is active for special teams? It seemed his spot on the 53 was secured when Crossen was traded. One could make the argument that he will be activated and Meyers won't be. Would you be as quick to cut Meyers?
I’m cutting the guy on the end of the bench.

And only 9 Super Bowls to show for it and 6 rings.

The bad news usually comes out like molasses.

Who wants to gamble at 8 weeks Harry cant go and is on ice until next season?

You can only hope.

Ok 200k. You got that?

That's just not true. Again you're looking at things through a casual lens.

How has Pitt done when it comes to drafting/replacing the OLB position.

What abt the CB position?

Any of their b/u QBs signing for guaranteed millions's?

You are a slow one.

A lot of those guys are still cashing checks.

NFL won't stop giving them $. Hoyer just made 9MG after getting cut!!!!

You don't think that's anything special??

You look at it from a box score/casual pov. A lot of those guys have value that doesn't show up on paper.

You also ignored the DBs/OL.

We have 2 top 5 G at their respective position (L/R G) Very nice C in Andrews. Both Brown & Nate reset the tackle market. Cannon is a vg player.

We miss at DB but have hit big time Butler, JC etc.

I'll criticise Bill if I feel it's needed but the guy is a wizard. No one is consistently as good when it comes to coaching, evaluating & developing players/prospects.

*Edit*
Honestly can't think of a close 2nd when it comes to the big 3 (coaching, evaluating, developing).

So cashing checks is what its all about? Too funny.

Hey, Numbnuts I compared WRs who were drafted and that excelled in the NFL .What is so difficult to understand? Also, Hoyer was undrafted.

I usually agree with your posts- but always thought you were maybe little too quick and too harsh with the name-calling directed at some of our, ahem, panic-stricken and mentally-challenged posters.
But damn, man, I gotta go with you on this thread. I didn't even read the whole thread, but there's a couple on here that only one word fits: ****sies.

I can’t name one WR after Hill and Watkins.

McCoy was a nice pick up though. Makes sense with ties to Reid in Philly.
Kelce is basically used as a WR.

Demarcus Robinson is ready to break out.

Wished we had Drafted AJ Brown now.
And when AJ Brown was on the mend during training camp you would have said, I wished we had drafted N'Keal Harry now.o_O

Haha. Very nice. See how hard it is to hold it in ? And I have been mild in this thread

This is some classic goalpost shifting. A TE isn't a WR and a WR who may or may not "break out" is hardly evidence of a loaded roster.
