people like the shiny new players....while Dorsett isnt a gamechanger like Gordon, he has bradys trust and seems to come down with the ball when thrown his way. We saw in pre-season game 3 when he outplayed Meyers....knew his spots.

He is pretty solid.

I'll be curious to see the game 1 actives.

I can't see more than 5 active and special teams and position flexibility will influence it. Edelman, Gunner and to a lesser extent Dorsett play ST's and Meyers has played inside and outside. Gordon and Thomas are outside only. I'm assuming one of Gunner or Meyers would sit but who knows, maybe one of 2 big WR's will sit week 1.

We have to trust that but we don’t really know the circumstances.
Personally I see more value in having your #1 pick working at practice even if he can’t play in the games to having a different player on the roster who will be inactive and may contribute very little.
I guess the unknown is whether he is injured so badly he wouldn’t be practicing anyway.

Dorsett has played zero special teams snaps as a patriot.

Yes it was. And one of the “WRs” was Develin.

The point is that we have a history of using personell groupings to dictate who the other team puts on the field.

It’s entirely possible that McDaniels can free up 3 WRs and 1 RB better if the 5th player is a TE instead of a wr, if that changes the personell the defense uses

3 wide and a te is becoming base offense across the league so it’s entirely possible it will see different personell across from it than 4 wides would.

And he may still. 2nd half of season and playoffs perhaps. They diddnt ship him off to Thailand. He will be with the team studying and rehabbing etc.

This team will be a juggernaut on Offense, with the GOAT running the show, featuring 4 RBs that can catch or run, and 6 receivers that can create mismatches all over the field; two big ones (Thomas and Gordon), two that can stretch the field (Dorsett and Gordon), and three in the slot (Edleman, Meyers, and GO). Who can cover THAT?

The Defense looks to be the best in years, possibly Top 3!

Watson rejoins in Week 5; Harry in Week 9.

I sure wouldn't want to play them!

I'm pretty sure I've seen him on kickoff return in the past. I did mention to a lesser extent Dorsett.

WAY TOO earlier to be proclaiming you were right. Meyers could be a game day inactive in every game, while Harry could come back week 8 and be active and contribute every game he plays in.
