this thread reads like last year's posts on Sony Michel. wait and see is the best course

I hope this doesn't stunt his development too much

People downplaying this are nuts. First ever 1st round WR and he is missing at least half his rookie season. ****ing terrible.

there is a big difference coming back from injury as a RB than WR. Sony didn't have to run precise pass routes from brady.

Terrible! They should just kill him at this point.

On second thought, lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater just yet....

I have no problem with any of this.

Are we sure that he cannot attend practice?

Everything I've read says a player on IR can attend all team meetings, activities, games, etc. It seems like being at practice in street clothes would be ok but no practicing.

Not doubting the No, just holding out hope.
A player on IR can attend practice in street clothes and is eligible to select the music piped in on the loudspeakers.

While disappointing, there’s no need to waste a active roster spot with him struggling with his ankle. He should come back by week 8.

Pats are in a position they don’t have to force him out there right now.

And do we really think Brady is going to target him more than Edelman, Gordon or even Dorsett?

Glad to see Thomas back.

Can they play Madden? And if so can they play with their own team..... AHAHAAAA!!

From a development perspective being place on IR for Harry isn't terrible. A lost year would be concerning to me. Knowing he will see time this year and that this team will make a playoff run will give him a good foundation to build into year 2.

Is there a single player D. Thomas looked great against who is still on an NFL roster?

Fully agree. I have high hopes, though, that as his healing progresses, he will get to the first stringers level. He would be an excellent weapon if he does.

.

N'Keal Dowling  .... I hope not.

Disappointing, but its questionable how much impact he would've had anyway had they not placed him on IR

He hasnt played since preseason game 1...not sure how much practice he has had with brady. And since his injury, Gordon came back and Thomas showed himself to be healthy.

So he would have to play better than thomas, dorsett to earn playing time.

Heal up rook

Weird, you wish good things for Andrew Luck and Braxton Berrios yet you seem to revel in any Patriots misfortune. Are you sure you're not a troll?
You're a clown.

Quit stalking me.

The question here is, why did an already injured player play in the preseason? Doesn't make a lot of sense.

For him it's a disaster.

For the Patriots it could be if Gordon calls his quits again. This is now basically what they did not want. They have to rely on Gordon now and pray he stays sober.

It's a bad situation and could turn into a terrible one.

We were awaiting your doom/gloom post and ....Right on Time!!
