No one has corroborated turf toe. It just came from the doctor who diagnosed injuries while watching games.
Hence the “maybe” and the post being structured in a hypothetical way. It didn’t look like turf toe to me, either. It looked like he aggravated the hamstring.

Maybe, although I’m not sure that’s better news. Turf toe is a *****.
Pretty sure that’s what ended Jack Lambert’s career, and he was tough as nails.

What happens if another team signs him before Monday? This could blow up in BB's face big time.
Yeah, Bill has no idea what he's doing in these situations. I'm really frightened and worried...

Did Dorsett die?

I’m hoping that third preseason game was a key moment in the Brady-Dorsett combo. Brady has never zeroed in on Dorsett like that and used him as his most trusted receiver. I wanted Dorsett to get a lot more targets last year that went to Hogan. If he and Brady can build off of this, there could be potential for an in-season extension. Getting him on a 2.6M contract was a very underrated offseason move and seems ripe for a team friendly extension.

I think Dorsett is a very reliable received who is typically dismissed by many, many fans. He's not elite by any stretch, but I think I he's pretty good and proven.

Brady takes “good and proven” receivers and turns them into household names. So I like the potential here.

He's just a cipher to me. A WR with blazing speed who's not a downfield threat. A smart, reliable receiver with good hands who has been given good opportunities but never managed more than 33 catches in a season. Mysterious.

Pending DT doesn't return & Harry is IR'd, it appears it'll be: Gordon, Dorsett, Edelman, and Meyers. Certainly formidable, just not as formidable as once was predicted. This isn't even factoring the fact the Pats have no legit TE. I would bring in Torrey Smith.

Pending two things that aren't likely to happen, you'd like to bring in a receiver who has spent no time in the preseason learning the playbook?

Also, Watson is legit.

Still feel it's likely Thomas will return based on reports and the context around his release.

But the lack of action today, combined with all 53 players present at practice, Gunner with his locker ... all seems a bit curious.

Patience, super bowl teams weren't built in a day.

Nesn has a picture of Harry suited up at practice today doesn't that rule out him going to IR?

I think us getting Gordon last season really impacted Dorsett. He started off getting a lot of targets. Once we had Gordon he saw less time on the field and when we lost Gordon we didn’t use Dorsett the same way. He’s nothing special but I think he could be a 500-700 yard season guy this year.
He’s definitely better than Myers and Gunner

What the f.ck are you talking about? I would expect this from Captain Stone but you should know better. That’s a bizarre take,

Captain has always been an inspiration

There are a lot of mixed feelings about Phillip Dorsett due to his past performance. If Tom Brady and the coaches like him, then that means he must be doing something right this year.
