Last season’s GOAT vs. GOAT billing for Patriots/Packers was reprehensible and disrespectful to Brady. That talking heads even debated it during the week was a total embarrassment, even by media standards.

He should buy two of Brady's books so he can read it twice just to make sure.

Great, let me get this down....SuperBowl 45... Oh Wait...I've got a better idea... Instead of SuperBowl 45...How about we send you a hobo's ****cheese.

They are all enamored by his flashy plays, his coach ability, leadership, ability to stay healthy, make the easy play, never discussed.

As sports has become more about stats and sabermetrics a player like Rogers and his all-time leading efficiency stats gets more and more press. Biggest flaw in this approach is that the game has changed so much on the last 20 years that historical statistical comparisons are completely out the window. When comments like "Dak had the best ever rookie QB season" due to his QB rating or "Luck was better than Manning through his first 5 seasons" get made they lack credibility and context. Being statistically top 10 in today's NFL put you above what Joe Montana and Dan Marino did during their era.

Pats fans (and Brady supporters) get rightfully offended when a player with Rogers resume gets any mention at all in the GOAT arguments. Somehow his ability to "do things no one else can do" becomes code for "the most talented ever" and conflated into the best in some circles. A QB's job is to move the ball down field and score points. The ability to do that when the chips are down and things are bleak is even more important. Show me 1 time when Rogers did what Brady did in the 4th quarter against exceptional defenses like the Jags (no Gronk, no Edelman) or the Seahawks.

I like watching both Rogers and Brees play and would love to see Brady play either of them in a Super Bowl. All-time greats and 1st ballot HOFers. Just a clear notch or 2 below Brady.

I don't hate him but I also do not root for him
I believe the one and only time I rooted for Rodgers was during SB XLV. Didn’t want to see PIT winning anything. He is very talented though.

He's just trolling Brady that tool

Whats with the Rodgers hate on Patsfans.com?

Only been posting here for 1.5ish years...any history I missed? I mean I get the Manning hate....but Rodgers is a likeable dude, no? Great player too....

It’s that stupid looking uniform.

It’s that stupid looking uniform.

We don't hate Rodgers and we don't hate Manning. They're both fine if you need an insurance touchdown :D

" The great and heroic Aaron Rodgers once was injured during the first half of a game by an evil no do gooder. As he was being carted off the field the stadium lost all hope for the rest of the season. Players bowed their heads and cried. Coaches threw down their play cards and clipboards in frustration. Armageddon felt near. The fans in the stadium, bless their hearts, held hands and began to pray. And their prayers were answered. As miraculously as Jesus rose again Aaron returned after half time to a thunderous ovation. " Our prayers have been answered!" cried some. " Our savior has returned!!" cried others. The comeback that ensued was one of biblical proportions. A blind fan in the stadium claimed he could now see. Crackers turned into cheese. Empty water bottles over flowed with beer. If I hadn't seen these holy gifts from God myself I would have never believed it. A true sign from God that Aaron is the chosen one.

Hence forth I proclaim September 9th as Cheaster Sunday.

May Aaron bless you. "

Sincerely,

Joe Buck

You know, I think that's Tom Brady's plan as well. :)

I had a Steelers fan over my house a few days ago (from the Pest Control service we use). He said he thinks Brady should retire now that he's at the top. I told him Brady will retire at the top. He repeated that Brady's at the top now and should retire. I repeated that Brady will still be at the top in a few years when he does retire. It took a while, but eventually he understood.

That was the game, on the 1st drive TB drove down the field at breakneck speed and scored a TD. Commentators were saying they'd never seen an offense go so quick. Then closed it out in the 4th with a TD, was awesome!

It can take a time or two with a stillers fan.

I’m glad Steelers fans have taken such a benevolent interest in Brady’s legacy. That’s all they’ve ever cared about after all: remembering Tom Brady with as much esteem and respect as possible.

Mahomes is now the “Rodgers Formula” GOAT. He is more of an athletic marvel when it comes to pure passing. 111.7 passer rating. How can a Green Bay fan argue that Rodgers is better than Mahomes when they’ve already discounted accomplishments?

You're really going to make me say it aren't you.
