Hoyer cut. I don't like this needless gamble. But, obviously, it's not my call.
It may not be final. He may be back after week 1.

Thank you Brian for always keeping the bench warm so Tom didn’t have to play with a Frozen ass. Your ass will be missed

With Scooby and Skipper cut, is Brady the only 80’s TV icon left?

1980s?

Um--try much earlier...

Skipper: 1964-1967
Scooby: 1969-
Brady: 1969-1974

I'd say they were 1970s phenomena

We have 3 new guys
My bad. Then we may need to keep 10 for week 1. Could be why Hoyer is cut, maybe temporarily.

From Hoyer's point of view, he had 1.5m guaranteed salary from the Patriots so he could potentially cash in nicely with a number of teams needing a backup.

Not sure this one was posted.

Not TV, but he's still here.

He might be back in 2 or 3 days.
Holding spot for a IR guy or to overload the OL for the first week or 2 until the traded for guys are ready.
Actually a nobrainer if you think about it.

But bottom of the roster players are about development, not SB victories, Farn. And the whole "can't crack the 53" is sort of the point of people hoping that cutting the player is not a mistake, not that the likes of Gunner are destined to be essential parts of future SBs.

Either way, it's not a big deal. I just don't buy into this seemingly increasingly prevalent Patsfans.com "But no SB win with __________, so who cares?" approach.
I’m not convinced BB sees those bottom players as developmental. He wants ST contributors there, for the most part. All players on the roster & PS are coached and hopefully they develop.

Ion the same vein : I’m growing tired of those on the board that fall in love with a player and lament their release. I’m a fan of the team. I want wins and SBs.

And soon the Garrapolites will mix with the Stidhamites and demand the release of thy Tom Brady after the overthrow of an open receiver in a merciless blowout win. So it has been said, so it has been written. Jarrett 3:10.

You must not have grown up in the 1980s - these guys all thrived on UHF TV, as did I Love Lucy, The Munsters, The Monkees, the Beverly Hillbillies and Mama's Family. The movie UHF was a pretty accurate depiction and send up of the TV landscape at the time.

A bit shocked they cut Munson....honestly thought he would make it....maybe will make it to practice squad but doubtful if anyone is paying attention
