Andrew Luck Retires from NFL

I hope each and every one of you realizes how special what we have in Brady is the next time you see a Jimmy G or Stidham out there. The Colts saw a generational talent in the draft and decided to move on from a 4x MVP and Super Bowl Champion (at the time) to go with potential and youth. That lasted for 7 seasons. 2 of them were plagued by injury, he got the knocked out of the playoffs in an ass whooping nearly every time he made it, and now he's retired.

This game is unforgiving and cruel and not everyone has both the health and just pure burning desire to go through the process as long as Brady has been doing it.

Never question whether we should stick with him ever again. The grass might look greener on the otherside, but you don't leave the great oak tree to in your yard for it.

Definitely not hof material

Nobody thinks this, his career was way too short. It could have been if his team wasn't run by the hat trick of ineptitude that was Irsay-Grigson-Pagano for most of his career, but of course we'll never know.

Lol Bruh. That’s literally ONE game. Also, nobody’s making excuses for Luck at all. Yes, when he sucked, he sucked! However, just because YOU have a personal dislike/ agenda against him doesn’t make him a bust or bad QB no matter how you slice it. He was on track to becoming a sure-fire HOF QB and just because his OL didn’t play up its standards for ONE game, doesn’t mean they weren’t a great OL. Take your emotions out of it, stop being a homer & use simple logic. Unless, of course, you’re not able. No need to respond, because I ain’t going back & forth with anybody.

2 years in I knew that Luck would never win a Super Bowl let alone play in one.

Why? Because of the " If only Andy had ..." excuse enablers like you casting blame after the Colts lost.

Vinatieri outlasted him.

It’s a long season. I’d rather keep quiet and take it game by game. Brady’s continued good health is a huge factor in that prediction. We’ll see.

I'm sensing a " Hell Yeah " in that post.

I admit I did think that Luck was going to break all the passing yards records.

So did the Indiots. That's why they lost on purpose to get him.

Wait a second...is this real????

Talk about clickbait. Does anyone argue that those two have an ounce of credibility?

.

Ok, even WORSE than I suspected. They said it in 2013 and quoted themselves this morning.

They are admitting they are nothing but carnival barkers. We all knew it, but now they are saying ‘This is how we roll, this is who we are’. Why would anyone listen to them?

.

I wouldn't call Luck a bust, a disappointment yes but not a bust, 4 Pro Bowls and 4 playoff wins in 6 seasons played.

Just threw 39 TDs last year and won comeback player of the year, to me a bust is someone who looks out of their depth and you look back and are like WTF did they pick him at that draft spot?

I feel bad for Luck. The expectations on him coming in were huge. Replace the legend and the SUCK FOR LUCK campaign.
Then to boot his O Line was not very good. That and the play calling where he had to hold the ball too long was his ticket to daily ice baths.
The success of TB’s longevity has been getting the ball out fast and he does not scramble. Luck never had those options

Those teams were really not that good. I think he’d have a Super Bowl in Russell Wilson’s place.

Tell me how bad the injuries to the Texans' players were, and I'll rank that division. I think it's an easy call to say that the Colts just dropped to the 4 spot, though. If Brissett proves me wrong about such a prediction, I'll be happy to see it happen.

I’m scared for Watson’s life behind that line. I’d say its the Jags followed be the other 3 scrubs.

Yep. Mike Vrabel’s about to win his first division title.

I think the Jaguars will be tough now that they have a QB.

TEN ain’t winning sh*t with those QBs. Also, their LT is suspended for 4 games.

That's not exactly true. As a rookie he and his team over achieved to get to the playoff and they were one and done. They next year he got to the playoffs and they won a game. They year after they got to the playoffs and won 2 games. That is not a bad start for ANY QB, especially one coached by Chuck Pagano and some horrid defenses.

A bit of an aside, anyone wonder if Josh McDaniels got a sniff of this and it was even a small part of the reason he bolted Indy?

a Bit of an aside 2; I feel badly for Luck. While his team were jerks, he never was. But that being said, after talking about a "possible return for the 1st week", has any owner deserved his outcome more than Jim Irsay.

This is karma for the colts Sucking to get Luck. The colts lost games they had no buisness losing to gt the #1 pick so they could take him. They were an embarrassement to themselves and to the league.
