Andrew Luck Retires from NFL

Why is it so idiotic? Luck and Ras-I Dowling, what did they really achieve? I will say with the investment put into Luck, the timing of this decision makes him a bigger disappointment than Ras-I.

It really doesn’t need explaining.

Peyton Manning was treated like dirt by Indy and their fans.

At the Indy Superbowl, Manning was not even packed up and gone and Colts fans were out en massse rocking their new lucky "12" Luck jerseys. Total lack of respect for the guy who got your town a championship.

Bust though, right??

Those who would use "bust" are just projecting their agenda, not reality. But it is fair to suggest "disappointment" given his time at Stanford indicated this was the purest pro style QB to come along in a while. Given his injury history and retirement at 29, sure, at least semi disappointing is arguable. Bust? What a silly statement.

With that said, not him, not Gronk, no one in the NFL do I knock for saying "I've made a ton of money, got beat up real badly, now I'm going to do something else that is healthier on my body and gives me a new fire/passion". Not everyone has the unending year after year fire, passion and focus of Brady and BB.

I hope they dont get Trevor Lawrence but I don't want the Dolphins to get him either.
Do they roll with Brisett or make a trade

You're a long time retired, come December when his body is healthy and he's refreshed and not worn down by the grind of the season will be having second thoughts.

Doesn't help you have an owner like Irsay who claimed 2 years ago the shoulder injury was all in his head than he ended up needing shoulder surgery and missed a year.

Maybe he wants to go play for his commissioner dad in the XFL lol.

“The Colts are going to be unstoppable this year.”

So suck for Luck turned out to be just suck?

Waaaaaahhh! Most thin-skinned “superstar” athlete ever had his feelings hurt because fans wore the jersey number of their new quarterback rather than their old one?

I really feel for Luck. It’s always sad when a great player retires young.

But LMAAOOOOO IRSAY! Dude deserves every bit of this.

Mahomes is better than Luck ever was.

Of course. But if every player worse than Pat Mahomes were a bust, we'd have to close down the league.

People have been talking about his potential as an amazing NFL qb since he was in college. I think we can finally say he just wasn't that good. Suck for luck...sucked.

That ****ty meth head fanbase never deserved Luck in the first place.

Scrolled through 80 plus comments at PFT and my favorite was-
I'd love to be Jim Irsay's
bartender tonight.

I can’t imagine he’s done for good, I bet he’s back in a year.
