They're asking Stidham to make some legit throws & hes responding pretty well. Good accuracy & placement for the most part. That one to Meyers was 50/50 & again it's p/season. They're seeing what he can do.

Hoyer has played well this p/season but Stidham has been better so far.

@ALP please explain how Hoyer has played better? Or anyone for that matter?

Been waiting for days. Asked Deus. Nothing. People love to throw out the X but can't even explain themselves.

I think Stidham is the 2nd QB and Hoyer gets traded/released.

Dorsett was the only WR on the field with any NFL experience, and it certainly showed--7 catches on 7 targets, strong work. BUT, he also showed the limitations that have always held him back. With 7 catches, I'm pretty sure his YAC total for the half is negative.

That said, I'll take him over Meyers for this season without a second thought.

The local Carolina broadcast is comically amateur. They broke up live commentary for breaking news regarding Cam's injury. They ask the female sideline reporter "what do you know"?
She answers "he appears to have a leg injury".

We have Zolak our house looks to be very much made of glass

A couple of half time thoughts

1. Michel looks like a different RB. More explosive and an elusiveness we did see last year.
2. Gunner looks good at the PR, but sorry G, this isn't the year for the Pats to have a PR specialist. But there's promise there.

3. The Meyer's experience took a step back but only baby steps

4. Izzo made a real make the roster catch today.

5. OL was great in pass protection. Run game, we'll have to see

6. Penalties right now don't scare me, but it must drive Bill nuts. Hard to move the ball when it's 1st and 20 or more all the time. That's why the offense seemed stalled.

7. Hated the 4th and one call.

8. I hope the drop Dorsett crowd will finally shut up

9. Stidham took a small step back, but you can see the promise there. But he needs LOTS of work.

Oh, tonight it wasn't a contest. Definitely a "welcome to the big time" wake-up call for Meyers against the first string. (OT, but a bit of the same for Winovich.) But I'm not convinced that Dorsett's ceiling is higher than what he's shown so far in his career.

I didn't want him to get injured I just wanted someone who could fill in at D

I feel the same way about Slater @WR. We used to have a TE named Bartum who doubled as a LS...he was a decent 3rd TE.

Just checked Pats stat sheet and Wino is nowhere to be found. How many snaps did he have?

These guys are carrying a LOT of water for Hoyer!!

How often have we carried 3 QB's???

Brady/Garoppolo/Brissett, Brady/Mallett/Garoppolo. I think the more telling question is when was the last time the Pats went with a rookie as the sole backup QB on the roster?

Interesting about that toss play the Pats are running. Looks like a toss sweep but is meant to be an inside run.

Mike Reiss is reporting that he's not seeing Harris on the sideline. Not great news.

I watched the play the injury occurred on and it appeared to be a head injury -- he got clocked after the PA-fake.

Another thing I'm noticing is NE running a bunch of different runs. IZ, Lead/Iso/Draw, Counter, Toss, think oz too.
