Edelman & D. Thomas back at practice; Gordon in warmups

No, you don't get to play interrogator when you're making claims about my posts, after all this time, and then not backing those claims up. Where did I claim that Dorsett is better than Patten?
No interrogation if I misunderstood what you were claiming then my bad. What was your point though?

With the weak TE position,

Edelman
Gordon
Thomas
Dorsett
Harry
Meyers

is still on track, IMO, though BB will obviously have to decide whether or not to carry that many WRs. Does anyone here (other than Patsfan2, who'd insist to all of us that the 3 month old infant with no limbs was ahead of Dorsett on his depth chart) think Harris or Berrios will beat out anyone on the above list?

Your optimism is surprising. We've seen a ton of veterans come through camp and not have what it takes in the tank to make the team, or even continue with their careers. I still don't have Thomas on my 53 until we see him competing at full speed. Thomas tore his Achilles just 8 months ago. That's a career ender for most players. Gordon is so day-to-day.

Looking at your list, I have Meyers at #3 behind Edelman and Harry with Dorsett as the #4. If Gordon is around for the opener, great. But even then, he'll be part time with only two weeks practice under his belt. Then it's one day at a time.

First Gordon is reinstatement, this board argues about him. Then DT gets activated when he was rumored to miss 8 games and you guys are arguing about him.

The season can’t get here fast enough.
What, for the game day threads?

The regular season Gameday threads are just practice for the inevitable postseason gameday thread when we don't convert our first 3rd down of the game and all hell breaks loose.

It's not really optimism about the WRs. It's more about the gaping hole at TE, and what I perceive as a sensible reaction to that. This is a WR corps that has a very high ceiling and a very low floor. We might look back a lot of years, and look at a lot of teams, before finding such a wide split between the two (or, I could be forgetting one or more that happened about 30 seconds ago). It makes sense to me that, in the absence of any TEs worth a damn to start the year, the team would carry extra WRs in case one or more of them struggle, with regards to game play, or suspension, or whatever.

My point was obvious. I noted it, then explained it to you, specifically noting that I was just pointing out the data. You're now claiming I said things that I didn't say. So let's just consider this issue dead, and move on.

I'm usually passed out by then. I'll have to make an effort.

Clearly it wasn't.

The AFCCG he didn’t play much due to the game plan for covering Hill with Jon Jones and Crossen responsible for following Hill everywhere he went.
Crossen covered the woman beater for one snap. It was the woman beater's only catch of the game.

Edit: Sorry I was mistaken. It was one drive. Not even the entire drive. 5 snaps.

Edge goes to General Patton for his actions during the battle of the Bulge, after which the Germans never mounted another offensive, and were finished in less than five months.

200,000 men and 100 tanks over 100 miles in just 3 days. That feat, to this day, has never been duplicated.
The terrain must have been damn near perfect!

So Jets and Lions tried to sign Inman but he went back to the Chargers.
Interesting.
Effing Jets

So wait, do you already have confirmation we won't convert that first 3rd down in the playoff game?

F***!!!!!!!!!!! Why even bother with the season? :(

Oh yeah, I'm sure everything will be calm and reasonable once the season begins!

Since I'm a fan, and not interested in objectivity, there is a best-case scenario in play here that makes me salivate. I mean, what team can defend against an offense where Demaryius Thomas is like the 4th or 5th option on a play?

Pretty surprised by this week's turn of events though; I thought JG and DT had mid-season reinforcements written all over them.

Well I did. What's the big deal with wanting a free backup player if injury occurs?
Nothing, you just should've known it was never going to happen.

I don’t know. I think the activation of DT took a fair amount of people by surprise, myself included.
