DVR’d and just finished.

- Jakob Johnson looked very solid as a FB clearing out guys and making holes. Did a nice job staying square on contact when leading the way. Great guy to have as part of the international program. Develin is no spring chicken as a 31-year-old fullback, and the demands of the position obviously don’t lead to very long careers. Given the emphasis on the run game as Brady winds down, the fullback position has high intrigue for me. Maybe Johnson can be the guy a year or two down the road.

- The segment with Logan Ryan and Harmon really made me miss him. If only today’s game was like past eras where you could more easily retain talent and weren’t battling with the salary cap which guys like Lombardi, Schula, Walsh etc didn’t deal with. Just another small reminder that Belichick is the greatest coach, as well as GM, of all time.
Had the same feeling about Johnson. Maybe a contributor next season.

Similar feelings about the second point (BB’s mastery), other that the fact that I am THANKFUL for FA and the impossibility of keeping the gang together. I love losing players, because while other coaches fall in love with a player that helped them, BB’s ruthless analysis is exactly why he keeps winning. Add to that : the new faces he needs to bring in to replace departed FAs are hungry and keep the train rolling.

Interesting that Dawson is seeing a lot of snaps at safety right now.

Doing a replay of the game at Sunday/today 10am EST on NFL.

It also might not be good news for Obi (and possibly Ebner)
I'm not sure how well Obi did last night. Thought I saw him get beat in coverage a couple of times...?

I’d love to hear their analysis too. Mine put the majority of the blame on Hoyer for not leading Berrios enough. Berrios didn’t get separation but the ball was still thrown to where he was not where he was going. Made it easy for Ryan.

I think we got the coaches analysis. Berrios never saw the field again in a game we were short receivers.

My take is the only weakness is swing tackle/OL depth.

The TE position, while not a strength, is OK when you take into consideration our pass catching RB's.

They really only need a blocker at TE. Izzo is a good enough and you still need to cover him.

They can survive four games.

Bring in some competition for Ghost.

Thank the Redskins. They drafted the other NC State receiver Kelvin Harmon, whose measurables and career numbers were almost the same as Meyers in 6th round.....and he has 2 catches on 5 targets in preseason....

Meyers >>> Harmon
Stidham >>> Haskins

Out of state and didn't see the game so I waded thru 55 minutes of Sportscenter for Pats highlights.
What I got was the Titans first TD drive and oh the Pats win. Will surf for more tomorrow.

Look at the organizations, from ownership on down...one is a model to be emulated and the other is a poster child for what not to do........

A few poor decisions (near INTs/misreads) here and there, very solid overall. Love the poise, pocket presence & accuracy of Stud-arm.

For those of you who have followed the off season much more closely than me. Sell me on why Meyers isn’t another Tyms, Bam Childress, Chris Harris (muffed punt guy? May have the name wrong).

We’ve gone through many pre season stud wide outs that didn’t amount to anything.

Edit: not sure what the funny emojis are for, I was asking a sincere question not being a **** lol.

Those guys flashed a play here, another there. Looks like Meyers is beating everybody. His teammates, his opponents in shared practices, his opponents in preseason games.

Yes, those guys aren’t game planning like it’s October, but many of his adversaries are trying to make a team. They are getting burned by Meyers.

Chris Harper....

Those other guys might have flashed here and there. Meyers, on the other hand, has been dominant throughout camp and in the 1st two preseason games. There’s no comparison really. Now, I’ve not seen enough to put him in Canton yet, but I’ve seen enough to convince me that’s he’s going to be a good, productive WR here for some time. Watch how he releases from the LOS. Watch how He catches the ball. He’s different and better than any rookie WR who has come through here other than Deion Branch in the Belichick era.

NFL Game Pass. You can watch preseason games live or replays of them and every regular season game. I live in FL and wait until Sunday night to watch regular season games if they're not on national TV here. It's a lot cheaper way to watch than NFL Sunday Ticket.
