According to @Miguel , Gordon's reinstatement eats up 1.3M in cap space while knocking someone below the line of $720K for the top 51.

If we are going to carry 7 WRs, including Slater, I expect Berrios, Inman, Gunner, Patterson, and Davis to be cut. Once Thomas comes back, Harris is the goner. Meredith I'm not sure...

You haven't been paying attention.. Harris is out for the foreseeable future..

Welcome news for sure, but I'm tempering my enthusiasm with a wait-and-see outlook for this guy.

Just checked the other 3 AFC message boards for their reaction. Only the Bills have a Gordon thread. Of their 36 posts roughly half have morphed into a Colin K discussion.

Not to be a killjoy, butI think we have to temper our excitement a little. He’s been conditionally reinstated, so what does that mean ? We all know the main condition, Goodell obviously has told him this is his LAST chance. I think that’s pretty obvious (just call me Captain Obvious).

But what are the other conditions ? It’s already been said he can’t play in the 3rd preseason game as part of the conditions. Why is that ? What does that mean ? What other conditions have been put on his reinstatement ? I think we need to find out more before we get too excited.

My other reaction finding out, was that Berrios, Inman and Harris probably will be looking for new jobs after the cut downs.

Edelman
Gordon
Harry
Meyers
Dorsett

If we only keep 5 receivers. If 6, we keep one of Harris, Berrios or Inman, but unfortunately short term for them, what if Thomas is ready soon ? If he’s PUP’d, it’s still short term for one of them.

Also, I’d have to think we break camp with 3 TEs on the roster, one gets cut when Watson comes back from suspension.

I’ve never rooted so hard for a guy to get over their personal demons, like I have, and will continue to root for Gordon. Love to see him on the football field, but at this point, I’m just rooting for him to get past his biggest opponent.

im not taking the cheese. Let's see how long he lasts this time. i hope he can pass future drug tests.

The reaction I’ve seen elsewhere on the web from other fanbases is “yeah, well, let’s see how that **** defense holds up!”

About that...

So you don’t think he’s been passing tests all year?

This is wonderful news, and I hope for Gordon’s sake that he is able to persevere.

Now, do you guys think DT could come off PUP pretty soon?

Really? People are saying our defense is s**t?? ROFLMAO.. Guess they missed that the defense has been improved with the additions of Pennel, Bennett, Collins, and Calhoun.. Never mind how J.C. Jackson continues to improve..

Give him till game 2, then he smokes a ton of weed, drinks a gallon of purple draaank and gets popped
